« We came looking for a camping spot for the solar eclipse. Our site was tucked away at the end of a huge field on a small peninsula with a running river nearby. The camping was amazing, the ground was nice and soft for our tents and we could build the campfire up with an endless supply of firewood. The stars were on full display as there wasnt much light pollution in this area. Taking a splash in the fast and cool river was a highlight. « Yes, this home is every bit as cozy & comfy as described! Immediately felt its charm. Beautiful view of the water from the sliding glass doors. Pine Tree Inn for a meal is less than 5 min. away. Snowmobile access was just down the road 1/4 mi. For any ATT cell users, there is minimal to no signal, but if you stand just outside you can hop onto the WiFi. Well stocked with all necessities! « I booked this trip as solo weekend getaway. The cabin was absolutely perfect...all the amenities I needed plus some. The host was kind enough to leave lights on for me to accommodate my late arrival which made check in late at night a non-issue. The cabin offers privacy without seclusion. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen/bathroom has everything I needed. Old Forge being less than 10 minutes away was wonderful. So many shops and restaurants to explore!
