« Exactly as described. Awesome location, felt secluded but you could walk to town and restaurants. Loved having the kayaks available. Beautiful scenery, coffee and wine on the dock every day was so relaxing. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again. »

« Cozy renovated cabin is located just across the street from the Moose River. If I were younger I would have enjoyed rock hopping on the river. Perfectly pet friendly and located within easy access to amenities, it was perfect for a quick get-away! »

« Clean, cute, and had everything we needed! Everything in the home looked nice & new, and it was very comfortable. The home is pretty close to the main road, so you do get some road noise, but it was a good location between the towns of Inlet and Eagle Bay. Would definitely stay again! »

« Nice relaxing atmosphere for a quick getaway. We found the Forest Pond Cottage to be exactly as described. Carol and Dan Empie are thoughtful and gracious hosts. »

« The location was perfect. It was right on the lake and a short walk to the center of town. The bed was very comfortable! »

« Wonderful access to the water with plenty of space to enjoy all the wonderful views that ADK has to offer. »

« There’s places for swimming, fishing ,kayaking and a boat launch for small watercraft with trailer. The pond is huge and the surrounding areas are beautiful to kayak, boat or sail on! There is a good size deck to sit on over the water. So quiet and peaceful.Inside there is a large screened in porch great to sit on and take in the water views. Ample room and spaces to gather for games and meals. There is a nice equipped kitchen to prep and cook in. The host is easily accessible and responsive. We...

« We had a great time! The cottage is very cute and has lots of Adirondack details. We enjoyed great fires and were happily surprised by adequate towels and blankets, etc., which made the stay extra comfy and restful. It is so nice that the kitchen is equipped with many nice dishes, tea, coffee and cocoa. »

« Everything was great! The hosts made it all so easy, the location is perfect and the boat rentals are exactly what we wanted! »

« The pictures do not do the property justice. Lots of room in both cabins. With dining and kitchen areas in both, had coffee maker and Keurig's in both buildings as well. And more important than the Lake being close, the ice cream shop is closer!! Also, a nice souvenir shop, restaurant and landmark Donut Shop are within walking distance as well. We look forward to staying here again, but are hoping this review doesn't cause it to be booked when we plan our next trip. »

« We enjoyed the stay, everything we needed was there. The ad for the property said within a 2min walk for the lake and the photos looked as though we would just walk out and the lake would be there however the lake was a short drive maybe 4min. For all those seniors who may have a handicap you can't walk to the lake. The only other finding was alot of dog hair from a long haired dog on the floor and behind the couch, also some candy wrappers behind the couch from prior guests. »
