« We loved the Silo, it's really unique and has absolutely beautiful views of the forest. It snowed when we were there and felt really magical. The kitchen is extremely clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook some amazing meals. They have a record player and records that we loved listening to. « My extended family had a wonderful weekend celebrating a family birthday at this house! The pictures definitely don’t do it justice. We had plenty of room for my parents, my husband and my 2 children and my brothers family (a baby and a toddler). The views are beautiful. The layout of the house is super comfortable. Close to Hunter mountain. Huge basement that isn’t pictured in photos. Only complaint was the walls were a bit thin so bring sound machines if you have people on different sleep...

« We stayed at Matt’s cabin over a long Memorial Day weekend. Though it was a cool wet weekend the cabin was ready with games and a fireplace to keep us warm. The hot tub and basement game room was a great addition! The kitchen is fully stocked with higher end appliances. The cabin is very spacious and clean! We will definitely look to come back again in the winter too. »

« We had an amazing stay at this lovely cozy home in the Catskills during our visit to the Rhinebeck sheep and wool festival (about an hour away). The views in this area were superb during the peak autumn season. The home was clean and had every amenity one could think of. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. « I LOVE the rustic experience, as long as certain comforts are available. This cottage was the perfect balance, providing us the freshness of the creekside and all its wild greenery, some bugginess, and a clean place to rest that wasn’t overly sterile and bland. « This was our second stay at this house. For being a somewhat smaller house, it has all your need for a ski weekend. Our family of 6 did just fine with sleeping arrangements and amenities to cook meals and just relax. It’s so close to the hunter downtown area and ski area. Very convenient. »

« This home is a beautiful refuge. Lots of windows offer breathtaking views and colorful sunsets. The house is well-furnished and equipped. The owner was accessible and invested in our comfort in his home. Renters should understand, however, that the primary bedroom is in a loft, with no shades or drapes to cover the windows. If all that light/exposure would be a sleep issue for other renters, they should bring a good sleep mask. »

"Cuisine complète... Un vrai four, pas seulement une surface de cuisson. Notre chambre était propre. Le déjeuner correct. Foyer extérieur avec divan. Personnel sympathique. Nous avons aimé cet établissement. Situé un peu plus loin de la I-87 que je l'imaginais"

Bon hôtel mais frais imprévu

"L'hôtel et la chambre sont très bien. En revanche, j'avais sélectionné cet hôtel pour la borne de recharge qui est effectivement disponible. Mais nulle part il était indiqué que c'était payant et surtout à 20$US les 6 heures en charge lente... Quand on passe une nuit on est donc facturé 40$US pour une recharge électrique... Hors de prix... Clairement il aurait été plus rentable de réserver un hôtel sans borne et de recharger ailleurs sur une borne rapide... Il aurait été avisé de mentionner ce frais sur l'annonce..."
