« This is our second stay at High Pines cabin, and it’s always a pleasure. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. We enjoy sitting on the screened in-porch, listening to the rooster crow, or the birds chirping or the river ever cruising by. Thendara and Old Forge are close and there are a few good golf courses not too far away. »

« Newly renovated inside very clean and modern, enjoyed using the fire ring for a nightly fire outside quiet neighborhood with short walk to beaches short drive to either Inlet or Old Forge would book again »

« We had a great stay. The camp was very clean and comfortable. Nice location and beach area »

« Our family enjoyed our stay at this rustic Lakeside cabin. The house was very accommodating and the view across the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed campfires, listening to the loons, and star gazing every night. It was also great being able to bring your dogs, who am I say thoroughly enjoyed the water. »

« Very convenient location quick walk into the village. The house was clean and well stocked and very beautiful with lovely art work. If you have a little one, everything you need is there (ours is one) so it's a lot less you have to pack. Our six year old nephew LOVED his room with the bunk beds, the kids books and toys. The owners are quick to respond and answer any questions you might have. We had a great time kayaking. Can't wait to stay here again. »

« I had a last minute family emergency and needed a place to stay, quick! This Caroga Lake location was available and it worked out wonderfully. The location was great and the size was perfect. Communication with the host was wonderful. I accidentally locked myself out (whoops 😂) and the issue was resolved within a reasonable time. Would definitely stay here again »

« The pictures do not do the property justice. Lots of room in both cabins. With dining and kitchen areas in both, had coffee maker and Keurig's in both buildings as well. And more important than the Lake being close, the ice cream shop is closer!! Also, a nice souvenir shop, restaurant and landmark Donut Shop are within walking distance as well. We look forward to staying here again, but are hoping this review doesn't cause it to be booked when we plan our next trip. »

« We enjoyed the stay, everything we needed was there. The ad for the property said within a 2min walk for the lake and the photos looked as though we would just walk out and the lake would be there however the lake was a short drive maybe 4min. For all those seniors who may have a handicap you can't walk to the lake. The only other finding was alot of dog hair from a long haired dog on the floor and behind the couch, also some candy wrappers behind the couch from prior guests. »

« Our stay at the 1910 cottage exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and had all the luxeries of home. Kris was very responsive and such a wonderful host. The lake access was super convenient and we enjoyed using all the lake toys. It was a stress-free, relaxing experience and we're looking forward to staying again! »

« This is a charming home. It was clean and neat and had everything we needed. The owner was very communicative and helpful. We were within walking distance of shopping and dining, which was perfect for us. Also, this was a ski vacation for us and we were only minutes from Oak Mountian which was very convenient. We'll definitely be back! »

« I hate even saying what a wonderful stay it was because then my secret will be out. The host was accommodating and easy to talk to. The house is in a wondeful location, beautifully decorated with little thoughtful touches throughout. Better than the pictures and you really did feel like you were coming home!
