« The location ON the Moose River was gorgeous but the cottages are VERY close so it was a little noisy. The decorations on the grounds for Halloween were adorable! It was difficult to learn how to operate the TV and the heaters (it was cold in the mornings). There were no instructions left to run either item and when we called the number listed, we could only leave a message but nobody called us back. « We had a great stay at Mohawk Pines. The house has 3 levels and made our room arrangements very easy. The house has a whole home generator that was amazing for us. The surrounding area lost power for multiple hours and we were able to use the generator for the house. The 3rd floor has 2 bedrooms and window AC units, The basement level has 2 bedrooms as well with no AC, but it stayed very cool down there. The main floor has no AC and got a little hot. « This house is absolutely beautiful! We had a group of 8 and we all fit comfortably and still had a few other possible places to sleep. Both of the lake access points were gorgeous (pictures from both) and being only 15 minutes from old forge was very convenient. All of the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Some work needs to be done on the exterior ( painting and staining). Indoors, property needs cleaning in the closets where we found mouse excrement. »

Also, the location was very close to the town of Inlet with all their shops and restaurants.
