« The fireplace was wonderful, it did get cold enough to use it. The bed was comfy and the couch was perfect for napping or sleeping. The kitchen had nice pans and a few cooking necessities like oil and spices. We were fascinated by the hay bale construction of the cabin and how beautiful and warm the house was. We self toured our little section of woods and said hello to the sheep. Unfortunately the weather was quite cool so we did not spend much time out doors. »

« It was a pleasure to meet our Host Diane and Tom. The cottage was clean and well equiped. It is apparent Diane and Tom take great pride in their rental. They greeted us at the cottage and showed us around the property. Diane and Tom made us feel at home and recommended a delicious restraunt and we coildnt leace wothout visiting "The Dutch Kuntry Store". The hot tub with lake views was perfect! »

« Nice quaint cottages in the countryside of Ovid, NY. Close to wineries. You will need to bring paper plates, bowls, etc. if you plan on eating at the cottage. Cottage was clean and host would quickly respond to any questions. »

« Location, comfort, peace and quiet. We enjoyed our stay at Timber 1 so much. Host extremely attentive and helpful with area attractions and wineries. Cute cottage near lots of wineries and restaurants. No need to go to Watkins Glen. We can’t wait to return. »

« It was fantastic place. Very clean and welcoming. One thing would be to add additional filtraition tonhelpbith smell of sulfur water in bathroom. Very very strong! Orher minor thing is fix hot tub cover. The cocer bar to assist with removing and covering is either broke or very loose on one side. We thoroughly enjoyed the place and surrounding area. « This is the cutest cottage with lots of room and beautiful views right on the lake. The upstairs bedroom with balcony had lots of windows and was so cozy. Absolutely perfect!! »
