« We had a wonderful time. The home was clean, comfortable, and centrally located between Lancaster, Harrisburg and Hershey. The owners lived nearby, and were very accommodating. All in all, we had an excellent stay. »

« Our stay at the Cherry Cottage as lovely and functional! We planned a surprise party and prepped menu in the well equipped kitchen. A perfect location for day trips to Hershey, Lancaster, and Pennsylvania Dutch Country! »

« This home was exactly like the listing. It was incredibly clean and had all of the necessities for the weekend. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The house is definitely updated, but still has the quaint charm of a Mt. Gretna cottage. The sofa and rocking chair on the front porch were so nice to relax in the evening and for morning coffee. Having a parking spot on the property was so helpful, as not all homes in this neighborhood do. We easily fit a large SUV in the parking spot. The...

« This year our stay at The Eliza Mae coincided with an intense heat wave. But true to the history of Mount Gretna, it was @ 8 degrees cooler there than in town. The porch fans and AC inside made it possible to still enjoy our stay. We had our traditional Ladies’ Night on the porch, as well as had several friends and relatives stop by during the week to enjoy the beauty and comfort of that spectacular front porch! Thanks Marianne for allowing us to enjoy your cottage. Can’t wait til next year…...

« Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink. »

« Linger Longer is an adorable little cottage that had plenty of space for 6 adults. Very homey feel made us all feel immediately comfortable. This has clearly has been a rental cottage for many many years, in all the best ways. Tons of Easter eggs from past guests add to the home style feel and comfort. The guestbook dates back to 1998, and we had a great time reading about them, and added our own little story. 5 stars all around. »

« The property was quiet and peaceful. Depending on weather, the front porch is a relaxing place. Management was quick and easy to message with. Great set up for our family of 5, with 3 children between 2 and 7 years old. Stairs were steep, but manageable. Clear signs and instructions within the house. Mt. Gretna was a gem in itself with food within walking distance. Overall, lovely stay and hope we can visit again. »

« The house had all the conveniences of home. Within walking distance of the Tabernacle, Jigger Shop, Playhouse, tennis courts, the Hideaway & playground. Rails to Trails within 1 mile. The parking spot in back of the house is a bit tight but ok for a smaller car. I would recommend bringing bottled water. »

« My family has been coming to Mt Gretna since my dad was a young boy. This cottage is a gem and perfect for our family in every way. It had everything we needed, decor was completely “Mt Gretna” and best of all it was SPARKLING clean!! »
