« Small, clean room with a comfortable bed. Great location in the heart of Jim Thorpe. The problem for us was that there is just one parking space which was occupied and parking in Jim Thorpe is quite difficult to find, especially for overnight parking. If the space is available, you are all set. If not, good luck finding a place to park where you wont get a ticket. »

« Okay first things first: BOOK THIS HOUSE. My wife and I were looking for a get away for our anniversary and stumbled upon this booking. I could not be more happy with myself for going through with this property. It is the perfect clean, cozy, peaceful and perfectly located cottage for total relaxation and comfort. The kitchen was great and had all the supplies you could possibly need to cook whatever your heart desires. But if you are in total vacation mode and don't feel like cooking your'e...

« Some things we liked: the TV is huge, couch and upstairs bed are comfy, the private dock, felt like a safe location, responsiveness of the host, board games provided Some things we didn’t like: none of the fire alarms were installed (they were all sitting on top of the cupboards in a pile), the breaker to the fridge, washer, and back room tripped more times than I can count on my fingers and toes for a 4-night stay, wet towels left in the washer, comforter in the small room smelled like urine,...

« We LOVED our stay here. As soon as we booked, communication with the host was great, providing us with information on the location etc. When we arrived, the cottage was spotless and even better than the pictures. The location was private and quiet and the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. We plan on coming again and hopefully staying longer next time. »

« Such a great place for a couple to spend the weekend. Peaceful and quiet. Close enough to everything but doesn’t feel like you are. Very interesting story behind the history of the property. Kurt was very nice and full of cool imformation. We will definitely be returning. »

« The Cottage was exactly what we wanted based on our short stay, and it provided a great distance from Sight and Sound Theater. The only thing that was strange is the smoke alarm / carbon oxide detector sounded at 6:00 on the morning we were scheduled to leave. »

« Just we have some problems with the A/c after that everything was perfect. »
