« Lovely relaxing weekend. Cottage is exactly as pictured. Great instructions and communication. Super easy to "check-in" and can arrive late. Favorite was the coffee & tea setups (both Keurig or drip) Shower was excellent and parking is super easy. Fire pit outside was lovely but chilly weekend so we enjoyed the fireplace inside. Helpful instructions inside about the area. We enjoyed farmers markets, dinner in downtown Lancaster and fresh Amish eggs. »

« Some things we liked: the TV is huge, couch and upstairs bed are comfy, the private dock, felt like a safe location, responsiveness of the host, board games provided Some things we didn’t like: none of the fire alarms were installed (they were all sitting on top of the cupboards in a pile), the breaker to the fridge, washer, and back room tripped more times than I can count on my fingers and toes for a 4-night stay, wet towels left in the washer, comforter in the small room smelled like urine,...

« This little cottage is a place apart from the 21st century in a magical way. It is also surrounded by an informal garden, where we enjoyed reading. And it is super close to the bicycle tow path along the canal. A real charmer, and charming hosts. »

« All the necessities for dining in were easily available , very pet-friendly, loved the kitchen/dining area with the view of Pine Creek, really enjoyed the outdoor living area, indoor fireplace setting was cozy and comfortable. Communication with the host was not necessary often, but when contacted was friendly and helpful…highly recommend the location with proximity to Pine Creek and the Rails to Trails. »

« The cottage had everything we needed!! We loved that it was so close to shopping and restaurants. The only thing that I would recommend would be to purchase some new outdoor chairs for the back porch because the current ones are wicker and are wearing out. »

« This historic cottage on the oldest golf course in the United States was a gem of a find. The inside was beautifully decorated but with a modern update including the kitchen with all the conveniences. Everything we needed was there. We loved sitting on the porch in the lovely wooden rockers and watching the hummingbirds at the feeders and other birds and wildlife as well as golfers on the course. The host was very responsive to messages. We would highly recommend a stay at Tarry Moore...
