You can walk to Hampton Court in 30 minutes, along the River Thames and Bushey Park is just opposite with free roaming deer and ducks and swans. Kingston upon Thames has an abundance of shops and restaurants. It was a perfect spring break. »

« Hotel is unique and lovely beside the river with amazing views, good bar with reasonable prices. We had a room in the annexe- room was quite small but added bonus of an outdoor seating area. But we struggled with the door entry last night- couldn’t get it open. Phoned reception- no answer, it was about 11.30pm. Found someone in the bar who helped to open the door- needed a heavy push to get in. Would have appreciated better and quicker support with this problem. Stairs everywhere so not good for...

« Spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast was excellent and really made the experience even better. »

« Bar staff were not very helpful when checking in and left me waiting for the manager for 15 minutes and was ignoring me and non-responsive when I would ask what the delay is. Other than that the experience was fantastic, the room was lovely, the restaurant was lovely, can’t complain. Just the check in experience left a slight sour taste. »

« The hotel is looking a bit jaded and tired. Even the newer rooms. The new bar is very nicely decorated. However the hotel seems to have a lot of weddings and parties - there were 2 one evening and a wedding the next which makes for lots of people, loud music, a full car park, unhappy guests with young children who could not sleep. »
