« Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. « Breakfast was good. Rooms are poor quality, very old. Things broken in the rooms and nothing staff can do about it but say sorry. The spa is good but restricted to just one hour and also restricted to just the pool, can’t use the nice spa pool without paying another ÂŁ70 per person per day so be aware of that. The hotel location is good, walkable to the park and ride and each to get into the centre etc. »

« I can honestly say everything was perfect with the room, it was beautiful, clean, all the amenities you needed was there, front of house was well mannered and polite when we arrived.
