The beds and couch were some of the comfiest places you have ever been, the hosts were so accommodating, the neighborhood is so cute. « There are no photos of the amazing backyard and steps covered in plants that lead to the door, it was a hidden surprise this close to an urban area. The lilies were open and the back porch was divine. My friend and I travel the country following a band, and this host has been my favorite thus far. She is very knowledgeable on the area and how to get around, as well as having tips on where to eat close by. We were there the weekend of the political parade and it was beautiful to see the locals...

« Upon arrival, I noticed the carpet had recently been vacuumed which was nice. The WiFi worked great, and I enjoyed the benefit of having access to a TV with cable in the bedroom. There was hand soap, and even shampoo in the shower if I needed it. The window AC unit in the bedroom worked just fine. Dr. Gibson had stellar communication throughout and was accommodating to a request I had made. Very friendly. « The Carriage House is a charming little flat in a great location. The space was nicely furnished, and the AC was much appreciated with the heat and humidity of summer. Public transportation was easily accessible (bus/subway/ride share), and there were plenty of shops and a huge variety of eateries in the neighborhood. The neighborhood was very quiet (although the Marines do practice a couple blocks away, so you may hear the band and their drills). Easy to walk to the stadium, or the Capitol...
