« Lovely building out in the countryside, but with good access to surrounding areas. Large rooms, good decor, comfy bed (with the freshest sheets I have ever smelt) and good shower. Good food with great service from the front of house team. Will choose Himley again whenever I am next in the area. »

« A lovely stay, very close to Alton Towers. The staff were lovely & the continental breakfast varied & suited us well. The rooms are separate "chalets" with allocated parking spaces next to each front door. We were concerned that staying in a pub may be noisy, but had a very peaceful night's sleep! The beds were very comfy & the family room spacious enough for 2 adults & 2 teenage kids (as long as they are happy in bunk beds!) The rooms are very dated & could do with a freshen up. « lovely place in the centre of Eccleshall. The room was clean and large, with a good bathroom and a fridge. The pub downstairs serves breakfast and it was good quality. »

« Nice, clean with a nice local pub right across the courtyard. Very handy. However the pub is only open limited hours and no where else to eat within walking distance except a fish n chips joint. We stayed in apartment 3. Suited our family of 4 well, but note there is no mini fridge or micro that a family might hope for. Walls are thin too but not a big deal. »

« I particularly liked that the stafff and customers of the Bridgehouse welcomed me. The place had the social feeling of what I think a good pub should be. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet too. »
