The Ideal Stay

Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful. The location of the property was perfect. It was a very quiet place in a very populated area of St. Pete/Petersburg. The condo had all of the amenities one could need or think of. It was also a very clean and comfortable place to stay.

My overall experience qas great with the exception of parking and sercurity coming to my door at 1030 pm to tell me i couldn't park in guest parking qith it being my first second night and when I parked in my assigned spot I was blocked in by a gueat.

Memories at Isla Del Sol

We owned a unit next to this unit 1988-1993 when they were first built. The beauty of the property and units are still as they were then. Our visit was the first time back in 30 years so we could see how the area stood up in those years. The units looked as they did when they were built in 1988. The property was still beautiful and well kept. Brought back many memoties.+

The condo was clean, well kept along with the complex being beautiful and well maintained. The biggest down fall is this complex is not meant for kids. Almost half of the owners are residents enjoying retirement. I was constantly worried about my kids being to loud or jumping into the pool too much. We picked this location based on reviews- cleanliness, proximity to pool and Fort De Soto. The neighbor below us we originally thought was doing construction. We would hear pounding on the walls late morning that sounded like a sled hammer. On day 2 of our stay we had a knock at our door asking us to be quiet because he works late. My kids were being quiet but he could hear them walking across the floor. We quickly figured out it wasn't construction but him pounding on the walls. We did ask to be moved because we didn't want to cause him any discomfort or the added stress of our kids being heard. The property management assured us we had done nothing wrong and had every right to be there. We spoke with other people visiting with children and they also felt it was not welcoming for kids. The complex is nice just not for our stage of life. Our 4 children range from 4 to 11 years old.

Great location

Very well equipped unit with everything we needed. Kitchen is clean, well equipped and organized. Space to visit with family and yet great privacy with bedrooms at opposite ends of the unit. Balcony overlooks the pool and golf course. Pool was wonderful, especially with our grandchildren. Location was convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. People in the complex were friendly. Interactions with the property management was good with the only delays being due to the Christmas holiday. Call backs were prompt and followed up via email. Nothing was an emergency and Heather was very helpful in resolving an issue with the internet. Security is vigilant on monitoring parking passes, but understand that the office is closed on weekends & holidays. Overall, a great location. We will book it again.

I will NEVER Rent from NextHome BeachTime Reality again

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Average of 5 construction vehicles directly outside the unit for 5 days - each time any one of them backed up, the beeping would echo through the unit. I emailed NextHome the first day to ask how long the construction would. Eventually, they returned my email and said they had no way of knowing and could not find out. I had told them that we wish to move units if it was going to continue. I asked the workers, and they said they would be done by 5:00. They did end by 5:00 pm but started the next day again at 7:30 AM - with the beeping. We had to park in the next neighborhood due to the paving. I contacted NextHome, and they said it should be done by the end of the day- it was. Again, the next day it began again, and it went like that until Friday at 8:30 at night. Each time I contacted NextHome they were unapologitic. They said they had no way of finding out information or knowing about this and only acknowlegded it only as an"inconvenience". Incessant beeping that echoed in the courtyard immediately outside our unit and the sound of grinding up old pavement from 7:30 AM - as late as 8:30PM and the smell of new tar/pavement for a week is not an inconvenience in my book. We had to keep all windows and doors closed due to the dust and smell. I sent Next Home two videos and several pictures of all the construction. The Association President told me that a "million" notices had been sent via mail and email. I suggested to NH that the owners were responsible for letting them know this, and surely the owners would recognize that they made a mistake and would honor a credit. I asked that the videos be sent to the owner of NH and the property. It has been a month and no one has contacted me other than to offer a $100 credit for the "inconveniece" $100 was the cost of the "parking pass" - we couldn't not park in front of by our unit. I am still waiting for my security deposit of $300 to be credited to my account. They said it may take 6 weeks.

Fun in the Sun!

We were located near many good restaurants such as the Island Grill, and Levrocks, an excellent seafood restaurant. We were close to Fort De Soto rented bikes and kayaks there. Also, we were near St. Pete’s beach and saw many beautiful sunsets! We also were near many grocery stores Publix and Aldi. The property description was very accurate. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Everything was neat and clean, along with very comfortable beds. We hope to return soon!

Basking in the sunshine at Isla del Sol

Spent two weeks in property that was wonderfully situated by the beaches and restaurants. Condo was not quite as nice as pictures depicted. Furniture needs to be updated (except the beds, they were very comfortable), pictures removed from walls had hooks and nails remaining, floors were pretty dirty, no vacuum (we gave it a thorough cleaning with products we bought ourselves when we got there). People at realty company were very nice.

A couple hiccups, over all a great place to stay

We showed up to a beautiful condo that had simply not been cleaned, after talking with the property manager we found out it had been missed on the cleaning schedule but that was quickly fixed while we went to dinner after check in. When we came back from dinner that first day everything was well put together and we were able to enjoy our stay. It over looked to pool which was a nice touch since we had an infant that took frequent naps! Everyone was still able to participate. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes and pots and pans, they had everything we could have ever needed which was a nice touch! When coming to this location, keep in mind that this is a predominantly older/retired community where everyone is up early in the morning and in bed early in the evening. Because of Covid there were more rules around the pool that weren’t disclosed before check in which would have been nice to know ahead of time like no drinks of any kind around the pool and no floaties at all in the pool, my daughters life jacket was ok for her to wear but nothing else was approved. The beds did make me appreciate my own bed so much more because it was pretty uncomfortable and we ended up taking turns sleeping on the couch to help alleviate the discomfort. So prepare for that, hopefully they will get mattresses at some point that aren’t so terribly firm. All in all it was a great place to stay, the condo was very clean after that initial hiccup and I would happily stay here again. It’s the perfect little family vacation home with a split floor plan, large soaking tub and a washer and dryer! It was perfect for our little family. Thank you for your accommodations.
