Also used to train our young Labrador Retriever (the reason we were in the area). Turns out within a half hour drive there are several national caliber training grounds for the various retriever hunt disciplines. John our host couldn't have been more accommodating. « Perfect place for my husband, adult son (22) and I to enjoy the outdoors. The house faces the lake and although small, it is well laid out and did not feel cramped. Loved that the house came with a fire pit, use of canoe (didn't use) and kayak. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was very clean and organized. « My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places. »
