« So, a one night stay for Donington Park and it was a head on a pillow. The property is in dire need of an uplift. It felt like I was staying in a care home to be honest. The food in the restaurant was excellent but the atmosphere, oh my days,so quiet and sterile. Get some background music on...... And no air-conditioning. »

« Great pub/hotel/bistro in a beautiful peaceful village. Staff were extremely helpful. We had a wedding with so needed an early check-in and late return. Both were accommodated for. Room was clean, fresh. Continental breakfast was included in price. We also paid extra for cooked b/fast. Very nice freshly cooked, hot, good quality products. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the Star Inn and stay there again. Or even go for a nice meal. Give it a go ! »
