Cabanes à Shire of Isis

« The reception staff told us they would leave our keys on the door lock for our late check-in. They weren’t there (thankfully, our door was unlocked). The room smelled like old perfume as if they were trying to conceal some bad smells… There was no AC, so it was quite hot at night… The kitchen had a pizza oven, a BBQ, but somehow, no cutlery/plates/etc??? When we wanted to do our checkout, there was no one at the reception even though it was supposed to be open… The only positive things are that...

« This was an absolutely stunning, quiet little place, with the beach literally in the backyard. The couple who's property it is, are the most genuine, kind and friendly people, and the amenities were spotless. Got to feed the kookaburra's, and it's only a short drive into Hervey Bay, but so much more peaceful. Definitely recommend!! »

« A lovely relaxing 2 weeks, a great little cottage, fully equipped, set amongst beautiful gardens, hosts were so obliging, the 3 resident character dogs visited daily, along with many variety of birds, all in all a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. »
