« Old coaching inn with busy bar. No elevator and rooms up long winding stairs and no staff to help carry bags so avoid if infirm or with loads of heavy bags. Breakfast superb and it’s very much in the center of town so great location. Service willing if a bit strained. »

« Bon séjour,le lit était très grand et confortable.Le pub était très sympa,tout comme la campagne environnante.Notre chambre donnait sur le parking mais nous n avons pas été incommodés par le bruit.Le petit-déjeuner était excellent »

« Hôtel de passage se situant sur notre trajet (pour une nuit). Concept original avec cette chambre située dans la cour intérieure d'un pub-restaurant. Hôtel un peu vétuste (mais en travaux), à la limite de la propreté dans les communs mais bonne surprise avec une grande chambre refaite et meublée à neuf. Bonne literie et déco sympa. Petit parking intérieur et terrasse sympa. Petit déjeuner un peu gras, à l'image des odeurs émanant de la cuisine... Un bon rapport qualité pour une nuit. »

« Really nicely furnished and decorated room and bathroom with a lovely comfy bed. A vast bath and shower, a separate seating area for two and a nice hospitality tray. It would have been a great room to catch up on some work if I had needed to. It was also really quiet; I had been a bit worried about this as I have stayed in some pubs where the noise in the room has affected sleep. Some of the furnishings were a little tired. « Attic room, was nice, however not so great if you are tall. Even at 5ft 8, and partner 6ft 3 spent alot of time bent over avoiding hitting our heads. Bath was spectacular! Room was warm, and restrictors on the windows, so unable to get any air flow. Bed very comfy! Cafetiere and Illy coffee was a lovely touch Was a bit disappointed breakfast was included, but had to.pay extra £4 each for a full english. Food was good though. Staff super lovely. »

"Compared to the Z Hotel in Holborn (which was ok), this one was stellar! The staff was very warm and lovely, my room was so nice with a lovely view on Bath, what a treat! I preferred the bathroom there. It was smaller than the one in Holborn but better organised with a proper door on the shower. Modern, lovely and well located hotel (even though I had an issue finding it using Google Maps!, it’s actually nestled between the Five Guys and the Lane 7 - don’t worry you can’t smell any fried food nor hear any ruckus!) thanks for a great but short stay!"
