It’s not within walking distance of anything. The prices are outrageous on all drinks, dining, and activities of the property. It’s extremely outdated as far as pool areas and rooms. The pools need major maintenance and cleaned thoroughly. Mold growing on most of the tiles. Rooms have broken refrigerator door and cabinets. There is absolutely NO FREE ACTIVITY there. No entertainment like karaoke, pool tables, music etc.

Everything in this hotel is very nice and comfortable except the main bar in the lobby. The bar tenders are a bit rude and not friendly at all which ruin the overall great experience of the hotel.

Amazing hotel amenities. Pool area and hot tub are incredible. Beach area is small but good enough if the beach isn’t the main thing you’re looking for. Staff at the check in desk were extremely helpful and friendly. Bartenders some were nice and some were dismissive.

Front desk, concierge and bartender service below par. Front desk not friendly on check in but person on check was nice. Concierge service was never at their desk but when they were and I asked for help with transportation they just said I don’t do that and was rude. I would stay somewhere else’s in area if I came back. Beach and swimming was very nice. Saw some manatees walking alongside hotel

Outside grounds are good.. staff are not helpful.. and are not interested in your comfort. The only staff with good customer service are the waiters by pool and housekeepers Room service MENU is very limited and same choices daily and very expensive. NO mini bars in rooms either!!! WiFi is NOT free !!! If you need to use a laptop be prepared to pay daily rates . Pass on this location!!

Staff were excellent, friendly & accommodating. Meals were excellent; building & rooms could have been cleaner & necessary minor repairs seem to have been overlooked. A paper map of both the property and the island would have been appreciated. Check in staff should routinely explain how the elevators work to new arrivals. A selection of a music channel on the tv would be a nice addition. Also, I would suggest that you promote that little ice cream and sandwich shop a bit more. They have more affordable options for guests to choose.

My stay at the Caribe Hilton was everything I expected it to be. Took advantage of the tennis courts, private beach, pool, etc. Would definitely consider it again if going back to the area.

This resort had everything one needs to unwind and relax!! Loved the fitness center, pool was beautiful, the beach lagoon was so nice, and everything was clean. Staff were all so friendly and attentive. The food at each restaurant was also amazing. Would definitely return!

Only thing I did not like was the shower, old and needed rehab, everything else was great. The lobby has a wow factor along with the pool. You could enjoy a lot at just the hotel including snorkel, paddle boarding, scuba etc And even beach. Then just do other stuff around old San Juan to get a taste of the local environment.

Mildred the front desk agent was very pleasant and professional. Ivan the bell man was the highlight of this hotel, Truly amazing.The staff is Very friendly. The staff make this terrible hotel doable but I would never return. This hotel is a dump. I upgraded to the top floor at an extremely high rate, my room was filled with bugs. The balcony 20floors up had roaches. Water pressure was nonexistent. The beach is filthy. The beach furniture is filthy. I had to rake my beach area to get the trash and debris away so I could walk on the sand. This hotel should be avoided. As a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member I decided to try Hilton because the pictures on the website were amazing. What a mistake.

I personally wouldn't really stay st this hotel a second time. I called the hotel 2 weeks before our check in date to double check if they had received my request for a crib in which the staff i spoke to stated that he does see the request on my booking and everything will be in place when i check in. Up on arrival to the hotel i inquired once more in which the staff stated she didn’t have this info but she would send someone up with a crib. After being at the airport with a baby and taking a flight i just wanted to rest for a moment but i had to wait for a crib to be sent to the room. We didn’t get proper instructions on utilizing the wrist band to use to elevator but we caught on once we saw others doing it. Upon arrival to the room our floor was on, there was a tray of eaten food and dirty dishes left in front of our door. We haven’t even been in the room yet. And when house keeping came with the crib she walked past the tray of dirty dishes twice . I also asked for the sheets to be changed because there were stains on them as if the beds got made but the sheets weren't new clean sheets. I had to go downstairs and request the sheets be changed as well as the tray of dirty dishes be taken up.. in addition the glass door for the balcony was really dirty and the crib that was brought up was also dirty. There was even a ants nest on the side table next yo the bed and the ants would crawl on the bed .. i had to utilize insect spray to help. That took away the positive for me

Close to Condodo and T Mobile District. I didn’t like the dining options on the resort as much. They were pricey (morton) but it was close to Condodo, walking there and back was good exercise.

With the amount of money that we paid for the room, it should’ve been a little more upgraded. I broken in my shower cabinet my refrigerator was broken. It was no microwave in the room for the cost of the room and was charged an additional $200 that I was unaware of on top of the 400 I had to put down to check it incidentals, they don’t tell you upfront out on the property watching the waves in the evening 10 PM was asked by security just sitting in a chair

The property was very dated. Nothing was clean, maintained or new. The staff was rude, condescending and unhelpful with the exception of Gabriella, Richardo and Orlando at breakfast. They were the highlight of the stay as was our housekeeper. The hot tub was freezing and after being asked multiple days by multiple guests we gave up using it. The beach chairs were dirty, we got bit by red ants on the chairs and the kitchen caught on fire in the building we were staying. The front desk told us not to worry about it. It was fine. Everything in our room stunk of smoke. We couldn’t leave fast enough. Hilton standards were not met or even a thought when it comes to this property. It’s a beautiful location but for the price same your money

We had a lovely time at the Caribe Hotel. Our room had a beautiful balcony with a stunning view of the water, which was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. The hotel has an on-site Starbucks, a steakhouse, an Italian restaurant, and other amenities that provided everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Overall, we highly recommend the Caribe Hotel!

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was courteous, the hotel was clean, and there were many amenities available. This would be my go to hotel for any other future trips to Puerto Rico,

The room was not entirely clean when we first arrived. The hotel lost water supply, the pool was clean, but not well maintained. The property is absolutely beautiful though!

Caribe Hilton was a great family experiences. Rustic/Lolas restaurant was great. Hotel staff was nice. My son loves the pool. I loved the on site beach.

The property needs some updating, painting, and maintenance. The elevators broke twice within three days. The beach are needs to be refurbished too. Great staff.

The view from my balcony was amazing. My husband, friends and myself all enjoyed lounging on the beach daily. We just wished that the beach was combed from the seaweed instead of seeing it all piled up in a line on the shore line. The food was delightful along with the drinks. The staff was truly courteous to us & big shout outs to Mildred from the Front desk, Walker at the bar & Dolores that kept up the room.

The check in process was a nightmare. We stood in line forever. Rooms were not cleaned well when we arrived, no robes or slippers in the room. Hand prints all overhead board the window and mirror. The room was not cleaned properly the entire stay of five days. We had to ask for simple things like shower gel. We experienced not one but TWO WATER OUTAGES. There was no running water in the room for hours. We were not offered anything for this inconvenience. I wouldn’t not stay here again. The location was the only good thing about it.

Property was right by the ocean, pools and hot tubs were nice. Loved the valet parking, staff there was very nice and friendly.

The resort is outdated. Emphasis on outdated. Switched our rooms 3 times, for our third room to have a clogged shower that took 30 mins to correct.also our final room the hallway smelled of sewer! Bell hop did not help with bags upon arrival nor during our 3 room switch. Manager was incredibly rude! Swim up pool does not connect to main pool making the area very limited in space. Food is mediocore with majority of the restaurants closed.
