Located a very short walk from Staithesâ enclosed beach and harbour, along with the famous Cod & Lobster pub, everything is right on the doorstep when staying at Sea Haven.
The Space:
With light walls and a combination of tiled and wooden flooring, the open plan living, kitchen and dining area feels cosy and homely. The living area features two comfy sofas and a flat-screen Smart TV with a DVD player.
The kitchen has white wooden cabinets and modern accessories. Both stylish and functional, the kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster so youâll have everything you need for your self-catering staycation.
Perfect for entertaining friends and family, the dining area is located in the kitchen and comes in the form of a breakfast bar with seating for four.
Both bedrooms at Sea Haven are welcoming and homely. On the first floor youâll find a twin bedroom. With wooden flooring, flat-screen TV and plenty of storage space, this space is traditional, yet sophisticated.
The second bedroom can be found on the top floor. Boasting a double bed, an ensuite shower room, and excellent storage facilities, youâll be able to make yourself right at home when staying at Sea Haven.
Located on the first floor, the bathroom is modern and home to a bathtub, separate shower, wash basin and WC.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
You can park and unload on Staithes High Street for up to 40 minutes after which you will need to move your vehicle. There are two long stay pay & display car parks at the top of Staithes Bank.
The Neighborhood:
Staithes is the quaint coastal hamlet which was recently named one of Britainâs most beautiful seaside villages. It has high cliffs, winding streets and mismatched cottages bursting with charm.
The village is also known for its abundance of fossils which can be found along the small beach and in the cluster of rockpools. This area is nicknamed the âDinosaur Coastâ as itâs packed with history.
Staithes is a magnet for art and artists alike. Throughout the village youâll find amazing painted illusions known as the âPainted Illusions Trailâ created by the famous artist Paul Czainski. It is also the home to the impressionist art society, known as Staithes Group, and their work can always be seen dotted around. Getting Around:
Sea Haven is within walking distance of all that Staithes has to offer and within 30 minutesâ drive time of Saltburn and Whitby.
Staithes has great bus links to surrounding areas including Whitby, Sandsend, Saltburn, Middlesbrough, and Scarborough. The X4 bus runs from Middlesbrough to Whitby passing Staithes Lane End making it very accessible to other desired bays.
The closest train stations are located in Saltburn and Whitby.
