« A real home from home. We were made to feel welcome the moment we walked in. The hotel is splendid and extremely clean. Staff are very friendly. Our room was excellent. Food was beautiful and plentiful. Our thanks to Dawn, the owner for a lovely stay. »

« I find the accommodation ideal for our needs. The rooms are in a separate building to the pub/restaurant so noise is minimal and facilities convenient. We've stayed here several times now and I'll keep coming back. »

« Lovely place, beautiful food and a really nice room and ambience. But what really made this place was the wonderful warm staff. The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful. Would highly recommend and will be back in future, thankyou so much! »

« Petit hotel sympa et tres anglich .tres grand choix dans le petit dejeuner tres copieux .Un soir nous avons eu droit a une prestation d'un chanteur style James Blunt .Super soiree .Le dimanche midi repas sous forme de self pour 7 pouds .Je vous le conseille »

« We loved our short stay at the Captain Cook Inn! They took care of all five of us for one night, and knowing that we had to leave very early the following day, they prepared breakfast to-go for us for our journey back to Newcastle. Too kind and so thoughtful! »
