Ranchs à Robin Hood's Bay

« Our one-night stay was underwhelming from start to finish. Check-in took longer than expected due to the busy pub. Room 4 was tastefully decorated and had a lovely sea view, with Whitby Abbey visible in the distance, but it was a double bed. We paid an additional fee for our two dogs, but nothing was provided for them—no bowls, treats or beds. We always bring our own, but for an extra charge, we expected some kind of gesture. Unfortunately, several things in the room were not up to standard....

« In spite of some very lovely staff, this hotel is in an appalling state and desperately need of a facelift. Water damage on the walls, peeling paint, leaking toilets, a broken shower and windows that haven’t been cleaned in years. The owners need to spend a lot of money on this establishment that must have been spectacular in the past, as neither it or the staff deserve it being left in this state. »

« We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings »
