« We have just had a two night stay and couldn't fault the hotel. We were in room number 6, large room with a double bed, sofa, table and 2 chairs, tea making facilities, en suite bathroom with shower, French doors opening onto the front balcony. Spotlessly clean. Ideal location, short walk into Whitby Town. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again. »

« Room was clean and comfy bed. Good location but the information about parking is misleading. You get a parking disc but these only cover you for up to 3 hours in the zones. We parked nearby for 24 hours which was £13. »

« Perfect stay! Murray House is so cozy! I chose the budget room and it was very cute, comfy, super clean (seriously!), warm (it was in November) and decent size. I was afraid it would be too small but the space was perfect for my need. And it's not too small for when you just want to hang out and watch TV. The bathroom is also a very good size so you are not all crushed when you take a shower. I was there for a convention at the Harrogate Convention Center and it's literally 5 minutes walk. Very...

« Beautiful but compact room.We stayed in the small double as it was the only one left available when we booked, but perfect for a nights stay. The room had everything you would need and more including dressing gowns and a fan for warmer nights The breakfast was one of the best that we've had in a long time. The scrambled egg and smoked salmon was exceptional. We will definitely be back but would look at a Seaview room and a few more nights. »
