« Quiet, excellent star viewing, variety of birds, restful. A train comes by about twice a day. Not far from Luray. Not great internet. House is cozy and comfortable »

« Great stay! Would return! »

« property was beautifully designed.lovely hot tub towels.but the lack of cleanliness throughout took away from our enjoyment of the aesthetics.upon arrival I had to clean the microwave and oven, both of which were filthy. we were asked to walk about the house without shoes, and were surprised to see how filthy our socks and feet were at that. one bathroom trash can had garbage in it when we arrived, and another bathroom trash can didn't have an insert at all, the trash just kind of falls through...

« Exactly as advertised. The place is perfect for a couple’s retreat, the natural surroundings are so peaceful and it’s a great home base to explore Sky Meadows. We had a lovely stay. The hosts provided a complimentary bottle of wine, cheese, crackers and dark chocolate. They also provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash and also let us check out late, which was very much appreciated. All in all, a great stay, highly recommend! »

« Fantastic location and nice space. »

« We enjoyed our time at Robinson River Roost. The river was in walking distance and my husband fly fished. We enjoyed evening meals on the backyard deck. It was a great opportunity to bring our dog. »

« What can we say? The cottage was quite charming, cozy and delightful. Well-appointed with just the proper touches. The thoughtful information provided with a nicely stocked kitchen, easy to work TV, comfy couch to nap on, it had it all. The perfect size and place for couple to stay comfortably for a getaway. The cottage exceeded our expectations upon our arrival, out shining the pictures on the website. Aspen Hill Cottage is the perfect destination in a beautiful area, to stay, relax,...

« House very clean. Great hospitality. »

« Charming house with very nice touches and decor. Appreciated that coffee, sugar, olive oil, and spices were available for our use so we didn't have to purchase a lot of extraneous items for our short trip. The house was very comfortable and we were able to use their streaming services vs log in to our own. Fenced in yard was also a very nice and unique feature. »

« What a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful place!! So smartly decorated with the blues and white. Beautiful! Bed was super comfortable. The grounds were great for walking our dog. This cottage was as cute outside as it was inside. The host is top-notch! Thank you!!! »

« Lovely place with wonderful views. It was close to all attractions and made traveling to them easy. I would definately come back next time I am in the area. »

« Property location is close enough to the national park. Should have read description closer, missed having a dining table to enjoy meals together. For 2 people it worked okay. Did not use upstairs beds/bath for the 2 of us. Caution to other users to read description and ‘fine print’ regarding cleaning fees and chore list. Overall positive experience. »

« WE had a great 4th of July week at this beautiful house tucked away in the trees. Stores and restaurants were near by and a trip to skyline caverns was only 20 minutes away. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and beds were comfortable. We had everything we could want when it comes to a vacation home. we loved seeing the wildlife, the fire flies and the beautiful scenery in every direction. The gravel road is a bit steep in a few places and washes out just a bit during heavy rain, however, it is...

« Perfect stay! Beautiful place. Very communicative liaison and the cupcakes were a nice surprise. »

« Beautifully decorated cottage with comfortable beds and nice linens and towels. Furnished with a mix of antiques and modern furniture, it is very comfortable and cozy. Print your directions and check-in information before you arrive because there is no cell service in the surrounding area (but lots of beautiful stone fences and horse!). Once inside, you'll have super fast internet so WiFi calling works great! »
