« Group of 7 of us stayed for an business strategy and planning retreat. The house is spacious with many comfortable rooms and three really nice group gathering areas. From housing perspective, it was perfect for us and we never felt tight or cramped. Access to Old Rag parking was 10-12 minutes, and maybe 25 minutes to Shenandoah Nat Park Entrance, but easy. 15 minutes to Sperryville. This is is country. There is wifi at the house, but as a group we found cell coverage very spotty and wifi...

« Nice, peaceful farmhouse with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to vineyards and quaint villages with great restaurants, however the best thing about it is its proximity to the Old Rag Mountain trailhead. If you're planning to do that hike, this home is just a short walk to the trailhead so you won't have to worry about the parking issues, and after the hike, the hot tub on the home's deck is heavenly! Wonderful place for a wonderful get away! »

« The Chalet offers a variety of cozy spots to enjoy an anniversary weekend -- outside on the deck with a great view of the mountains, a hot tub for soothing legs tired from hiking, a screened-in porch, and a mini living room w TV and streaming. We enjoyed relaxing in all of these spots, plus cooking in the well-furnished kitchen. Thanks to the owners for easy communication and logistics. »

« Enjoyed a relaxing getaway with friends. This place was just what we were looking for. Amazing decor, enjoyed hot tub and fire pit. Was tucked away to feel just far enough away from it all. We spent some time by river just about 20 min away. We were pleasantly surprised to find the extra roll away beds So there was plenty of space for 8 of us ladies. »
