« The Abita Historic House was a great place to stay. The house had all the amenities needed and was a cozy, relaxing and comfortable place to hang out with our family who lives nearby. Nice to be outside on the porch and yard, too. The hosts were very helpful and responded quickly to a question we had.Abita Springs is a cute town. We enjoyed walking to the Cafe, Brew Pub, and park. Tasty ice cream nearby as well.We look forward to future visits! »

« The hosts were easy to contact and to work with. The home was clean and had coffee and creamer. The bathroom was clean , it had towels washcloths along with soap and shampoo. The bedrooms were clean . This is a waterfront property, so we came with a canoe and a kayak. « Gorgeous property. Kindest owners. I was pleasantly surprised with all that was readily available to use in the house. Absolutely loved the fresh eggs to enjoy thanks to the chickens on the property. I definitely plan to go back. The pictures aren’t near as beautiful as the actual place! »

« We had the most delightful little pre-cruise stay in this cute bungalow. It was spotless, comfortable and the deck was so relaxing to sit out on in the evenings. Very reasonable price too. We would definitely stay again if we ever visit again. »

I had the stay booked 6 months in advance for a 30 day stay while I was in town working, and he cancelled the entire trip at 1 in the morning on the date of check in. He did not give any explanation as to why or even so much as apologize for the incredible disrespect. »

« This is a new construction property and was very clean. There is plenty of room for a family. The owners are nice and their dog Flash is a wonderful welcoming fellow. The house is still having some growing pains that are understandable as they are so new, there was no table to eat at in the house, so we brought the table and chairs of the deck in side, nor anywhere to hang up towels ( the only towel bar was very lose).
