Le chalet est situé derrière notre maison de style Vieux Carré. Dès votre arrivée, vous pourrez vous détendre et planifier votre visite à la Nouvelle-Orléans dans votre chalet confortable et votre patio privé. Profitez d'un panier de vin de bienvenue avec des spécialités locales.

Le chalet est situé dans l'un des plus beaux quartiers résidentiels de la Nouvelle-Orléans. C'est un quartier calme, loin de la foule et du bruit, et très pratique pour se rendre au City Park et au musée des arts de la Nouvelle-Orléans, au jardin Besthoff et au parcours de golf 18 trous de New Bayou Oaks. Vous êtes centralement situé dans le meilleur de la ville, à distance de marche du lac Pontchartrain et d'un trajet Uber peu coûteux ou des transports en commun vers le quartier français.

Les cafés, les bars à vin, les restaurants de fruits de mer, mexicain, asiatique et créole sont très proches; ou, détendez-vous et faites un barbecue sur votre terrasse privée. Les épiceries sont à quelques minutes.

Mais ne vous précipitez pas - nous avons fourni des articles de base pour le petit-déjeuner (jus de fruits, café, lait, céréales, yaourts, pain et beurre) pour votre plus grand plaisir au petit matin.

L'intérieur du Guest Cottage a été récemment rénové avec des planchers de bois franc dans le salon / salle à manger, de nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable, dont un réfrigérateur à glaçons et des comptoirs en granit dans la cuisine. Chambre séparée avec lit queen et grande salle de bain avec table de maquillage intégrée.

Privé parking dans la rue, la télévision par câble, Salut vitesse wi-fi et laveuse / sécheuse dans le chalet.

The hosts, Susan and Eldon, were extremely welcoming and generous. We arrived to find the refrigerator full of a variety of breakfast foods, chocolate mints, champagne, and wine. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and the kitchen was well appointed. There is good lighting for reading, The garden leading from the entrance to the cottage is magical, and we’ve loved falling asleep to the sound of water from the fountains. The private patio with a grill and seating in the back was another plus. We absolutely will retur.

Sue was an exceptional host! The cottage was perfect for a couple! If you are traveling by yourself, very safe neighborhood. Host are on the same property and the cottage fence is locked! There are many places to eat or have a drink within a mile of the cottage! Centrally located and a short drive to Bourbon Street and the French Market! We visited for our honeymoon and were greeted with congratulations and wine! The garden is serene! The host has everything you might need in the kitchen and plenty of towels. The bed is phenomenal, my husband and I slept better their than anywhere else we have ever stayed 10/10 would recommend to anybody!!

This was an exceptionally wonderful location and hosts ! Enjoying evenings in the courtyard and breakfast on the back porch were relaxing and lovely! The caption for this property describes it perfectly. It was so quaint and relaxing! The cottage was tastefully decorated and clean. Our hosts were excellent, making sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The refrigerator was stocked with breakfast and drink items. We felt this was so thoughtful and generous of our hosts. We parked in our own spot in the driveway. Neighborhood was very nice. It was a wonderful stay!

Even though we expected a private parking spot, beautiful landscaping, and some treats provided, we were blown away by the extent that the owner went through to make our stay special. The location is superb, the foliage beautiful and lush, the kitchen filled with several options for breakfast, and the courtesy and sweetness of the owner is unlike anything I have experienced. I said to my husband that I feel like she is here helping us in a completely non-intrusive way because she has thought of everything! We felt totally safe in this neighborhood. It was quiet and relaxing on the deck where we watched lizards quietly sneaking by. We hope to come back here again!

The cottage was absolutely perfect for us! It was decorated so beautifully and all the special little touches made such a huge impact on our stay. All the added little touches - the coffee, tea, snacks and drinks in the fridge, the New Orleans special treats, the welcome letter from Susan and Eldon, and the beautiful outdoor areas - made this cottage the most wonderful place we have ever stayed. The bed was very comfortable, as well as the comfort of the furnishings. I could have stayed for weeks! Very easy to get to, really liked the boulevards! Great food within the area. Safe and beautiful neighborhood to walk around in and the people of New Orleans were so friendly. Loved our stay and would absolutely come back again but stay longer next time! Susan and Eldon were wonderful hosts and have an absolutely amazing place!

Just perfect!

This sweet cottage is just as portrayed in the VRBO catalog. Actually - it's better. The gardens and curving paths past beautiful tropical plantings are a bonus. The cottage itself is charming, clean, comfortable, and VERY well stocked with necessities, nice-to-haves, and yummy treats and beverages. In addition, the property is less than 20 minutes to the French Quarter and Nat'l WW II museum, the West Bank, Airport, and lots more. And, perhaps most importantly, it is safe. The owners are perfect hosts and live in a separate home on the property. If you need directions or suggestions, you can comfortably ask the hosts. We hope to return next year and we'll tell our friends and family about this wonderful property.

Perfect Vacation Space

Great guest cottage

This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting New Orleans. The cottage was very comfortable and well-appointed, in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. We cook most of our meals when we travel and the kitchen was great, with many essential items provided by the host. The garden is lovely and gives a very relaxing vibe. If we return to New Orleans, we will stay with Susan and Eldon again.

The cottage is so nicely appointed, but the courtyard setting makes it feel like an oasis. And if that wasn't enough, the hosts are simply the best we've ever had. A personalized sign welcoming us, the fridge full of breakfast food, snacks, and a bottle of champagne with chilled glasses waiting for us! WHO DOES THAT? Answer... these hosts! Truly amazing. Relaxing way to end the day with a beautiful, relaxing neighborhood away from the crazy of downtown. Space was clean, cute and filled with thoughtful extras. Susan and Rldon were beyond friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend!

The best home we have booked on VRBO

I don’t even know where to start. Susan and Eldon are the most gracious hosts. They left some basic item in the fridge to make us feel welcome (juice, water, yogurt, soda, bread, eggs , and more). Then they also left us some yummy snacks to try. The home was clean and warm and inviting. And their backyard garden is like a Monet painting. When we come back to New Orleans, we will definitely booked this place again.

I’ve stayed in a lot of rentals but I’ve never seen so much care for a cottage than Susan gave this one! We felt very welcomed with her snacks, wine and even beads/masks provided for mardi gras. Cottage was clean, in a safe neighborhood and just a short drive to French Quarter which is what we wanted as we had a rental car and needed parking. I recommend this rental to anyone who wants to explore such a unique city.

Delightful cottage with exemplary hosts

This adorable cottage exceeded our expectations. A welcome sign with our names greeted us and that was just the first of many surprises! Champagne, wine, cheese, pralines and more along with breakfast items and many other treats were laid our for our pleasure, A comprehensive list of local eateries was provided along with maps and informations on New Orleans sites. Check in was easy and Susan and Eldon checked in with us to see if there was anything else we needed. Because of the 100 year snow storm, our dates were changed at no charge, Susan kept us posted prior to arrival as to road conditions. What a joy to arrive at this adorable home away from home. As an artist, I loved the collection of art work and the amazing photographs. Even with the snow damage, my partner thoroughly enjoyed all the landscaping treats surrounding the cottage. We are definitely looking forward to returning to New Orleans and and staying with Susan and Eldon again.
