« Tous etes très bien »

« Breakfast was not good, they don’t even give you a coffee or a cup of tea with it. Overall it’s not horrible but it feels your existence is bothering the staff working there. »

« Beau ryokan »

« Located near Gora Station, this is an *onsen* hotel where one might expect a wonderful *ryokan* experience from start to finish. In terms of the *onsen* facilities, I would consider it good; there are several thermal pools at different temperatures, showers for washing before and after bathing, and amenities such as towels and *yukatas* (Japanese robes) are provided. Regarding the food, although there are several set-menu options, we were simply given whatever was left, and there was no choice...

« This spot was quite far from the station. There was nothing around the hotel in this area. The view from the Room (waterfall and mountain) was gorgeous. Staff were very helpful and kind to us for late dinner and shuttle bus requests. Only disappointment was the public onsen bath. I didn't smell any mineral water in the bath. Hakone is famous for onsen but I was disappointed. »
