Châteaux à North Georgia Mountains

« Can't really say enough nice about the hotel. The staff was awesome, it was clean. Everything but the beds were perfect, and in a hotel.... I can't complain about the beds really. The pillows were even great. I'm so spoiled by my mattress at home, the bar is too high for a hotel to meet. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Helen. »

« Motel basique mais avec des chambres rénovées. C'est calme et à deux pas d un sentier de randonnée dans la forêt. Le centre ville est assez éloigné. Personnel accueillant. Petit déjeuner décevant. »

« They had problems with the plumbing above my unit and it overflowed into my bathroom which I tried just to work with people I told him no big deal I cleaned it up with the towels that were there and they kept anybody else from using the unit above me »

« At breakfast, the toaster and the pancake-making machine weren't working. »

« They put me in a handicap room and I am not handicap, they said this was the only room available, and I had booked months in advance. The wallpaper in the bathroom was falling off. The toilet had not been cleaned or flushed when I arrived. When I woke in the morning and went into the bathroom a bug was crawling on the floor. The room smelled like mold. »

« The air was turned off during the day while to men that were there for a job were hot and tired and just wanted a cool place to relax. I don't believe that a place should turn off air conditioning during the hottest month of the summer anyway. Especially in central FL. The breakfast was a microwave biscuit and was as hard as a rock. We won't be using this location again. »

« A little desk in the room to put a laptop on would be great. Other than that, everything is very nice and the staff extremely helpful. Thank you. »

« The Helendorf is a great in-town stay. Very good location, in walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. The feel of the town's Bavarian theme is absolutely charming, and The Helendorf certainly captures that very well. Well maintained, plenty of parking, and very comfortable. A great value as well. »
