Large room with a comfortable king size bed. Hotel is located directly across the street from the Costal Walkway and is located within walking distance of just about everything in the City Centre. Property has some wear and tear and needs some TLC is certain areas. We did have an issue with staff at the onsite restaurant Salt for dinner that we addressed with management; otherwise, a good stay. We would consider staying here in the future.

Great location
Great location with easy walking to ocean front walkway, restaurants, museums, bike rental, post, and shopping. Do not expect a front ocean view room. The 1st floor restaurant/bar does have fantastic indoor/outdoor seating overlooking the Tasman Sea and surrounding area.

Nice place to stay, convenient location. Only issue for us was easy and free parking - the carpark was full when we came back from being out. We didn't get told when we checked in where else to park, so wasn't until later when I waited and asked the receptionist where else I could park. It was slightly around the corner and not under cover like everyone else. Also understand that the staff park in where guests should be able too - which isn't a good look or experience!

Overall stay was ok. Room was spacious and mostly clean. They had assigned us the incorrect room on arrival, which resulted in us waiting 45mins for a new room to be cleaned/made up. No offer of late checkout or much of an apology for the wait. Car parking very limited..only approx 20 spaces. Area is quite noisy with traffic but double glazing helped minimize

BEAUTIFUL COASTAL WALKWAY
This hotel is situated in a very nice area. Our service in their restaurant took some time to clean our table. They said they had problems with the staff quitting. Our room was nice but we looked at coffee cups and they were not clean and had to order more. Their parking lot was full. They told us to park around the corner which charged a fee at a certain time. She said their parking would clear as restaurant guests can park there as well. She said she would call and we could come and move the car (inconvenient!). She never called and we had to move the car by 9am the following morning. Again their lot was full but we were lucky to find one last spot. It is beautiful with the coastal walkway across the street!

I always book on Hotels.com but lately instead of upgrades as a gold member. I keep getting the accessible room. Which didn’t even have a shower curtain this trip. I stay here every two weeks for work and use to be looked after but lately it’s been very poor. Also I have had to ask for my $18 food credit to be added which it use to be just deducted. If it wasn't for its location I’d stay elsewhere.
