« Orchard Barn Spa is located in beautiful, idyllic, secluded countryside. The accommodation is outstanding, with everything you need for a perfect stay. We bumped into the host Chris twice who is very attentive, friendly and a really nice guy. We made great use of the spa in the evenings to relax after a days exploring. We would highly recommend a stay here, and I'm sure we will be returning again. Thank you Chris! »

« Our stay was great. Never stayed in a holiday home that had room proportions of this home! The only reason I gave 4 stars for the overall rating was that on the first morning, we had no hot water. However, impressed by the way that this was resolved within a couple of hours as it required an emergency call out for a plumber in a bank holiday weekend. »

« Exceptional new renovation. Spectacular kitchen facilities and provisions. Great location for access to The New Forest. Wish we were staying here longer. One of the best properties of our trip. »

« The cottage had everything we needed for the week; beds were very comfortable, a lovely courtyard garden which was a sun trap. It’s also close to all the amenities in Lymington (in walking distance). Richard was an excellent host; gave us concise information on the cottage, local area, dining out options and offered personal help when I experienced a problem with my car on the day of arrival. We would definitely book this cottage again. »

« We chose Rhubarb cottage for our New Forest stay because we wanted a property that would accept dogs and was in easy walking distance of the new forest trails. The cottage did not disappoint. It was clean and well presented. There was no dog smell that you can get in places that accept dogs which was great and it helped our one settle much quicker than he has in other accommodation in the past. « This was our second stay here with all the family. The house is very spacious with loads of room for everyone. The kids adored the rope swing! We have relatives in Lymington and know the area very well and find the property really convenient for lots of New forest attractions. We may stay again!! »

« The stables are in an amazing location. Right on Lyndhurst high street. The kitchen and living spaces were brilliant for our large group of 16 adults and 10 kids. Loads of seating. Loads of plates, mugs, glasses. Plenty of parking - easily managed 7 cars.But the standard of cleanliness was very poor, particularly in the bedrooms. We found empty vapes, dirty tissues and cotton buds, cigarettes, nasty stains on the floors and more worryingly, the condition of the mattresses. Some looked like...

Très bien mais un brin plus chaleureux serait top

"Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter la New Forest avec un parking à disposition des clients ce qui est très précieux. La chambre triple sous les toit était spacieuse, cosy, confortable et propre. Les fenêtres de toit sont super pour gérer la température en été. 2 étages avec escaliers étroit sans ascenseur mais ça fait partie du charme. Par contre le gros bémol est le personnel pas du tout accueillant. Au check in, le strict minimum en terme d'accueil, au petit déjeuner pas un sourire et au ckeck out il n'y avait personne à la réception et on nous a dit de simplement laisser les clefs. Petit déjeuner exclusivement anglais avec un menu unique, le reste du buffet est quelconque. Dommage qu'ils ne servent pas du café à la machine qui est juste derrière eux mais seulement du café filtre. Cela reste un bon plan pour visiter la zone"
