« This has been my favourite UK staycation! The hosts were so lovely and kind. The rooms were clean and have everything you need with a few extra touches like dressing gown, heaters/hot water bottle and tea/coffee. The cooked breakfast was soo tasty! The location is perfect and not too far from everything..lovely views of cheviot hills. I have nothing negative to say...it was the perfect stay! Thank you! I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Northumberland! »

« We stayed in about 10 hotels in Scotland, but this was the first and the best one by far: the warm welcome, the quality of the service (bringing a heater when we were cold, immediately responding to expressed needs), family atmosphere and quality breakfast in a family atmosphere. Thank you! »

« The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. Spa area was very chilled, relaxing and would 100% recommend solely for the spa. Dinner at charlies was overpriced for what we got but we are not into fine dining. Wine was expensive as well but ok if your not having loads. Overall stay was great but wouldnt go for the food. »

« Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. »

« Un très bon séjour. Le personnel est accueillant, l'emplacement est parfait et très calme. Le lit superposé pour les enfants est parfait. Le petit déjeuner très correct. L'hôtel est vétuste et l'équipement de la salle de bain réduit au minimum mais c'est un très bon deux étoiles. »
