« The Rectory was a wonderful location for our annual family birthday/get together. Everything was perfect and Jane left us a lovely card and birthday cake which was much appreciated. We all loved the log fire in the evening while we played board games and it was great to have a table everyone could sit around and eat together. The grandchildren loved the pool and picking apples from the orchard for apple pie. It was an idyllic retreat. »

« Bevan's House is a superb stay in Mid Wales. Located in between Lhandridod Wells and Builth Wells, it's a nice getaway if you're looking for a rural quiet area.The ace card of the property is the all day heated hot tub (which has a roof over it to use in all weathers). « Clean, comfortable, and charming. The property is pretty and well appointed, with easy parking and a both a fenced in main grounds and a fenced garden within, which was ideal as we travelled with our dogs. Very pet friendly. Great communication from the owners ahead of our visit, and the handy home instruction manual made operating the heating and all appliances easy. If I was pushed to have a slight negative comment it would be that there were no instruction booklets for the kitchen appliances. »

« In a nutshell, dreadful. Furniture missing or unsafe, lots of things broken or unusable. Exposed wires, NO fire extinguisher, NO smoke alarm or Carbon Monoxide monitor, NO fire blanket in kitchen. Inadequate kitchen tools meaning we couldn't self cater, no glasses, I could go on and on. This property appears to have not been checked by any authority for a very long time. »
