« A lovely old-fashioned hotel in a stunning setting. Comfortable, clean, cozy. On arrival we were surprised to find nobody there even though we'd waited for reception opening time. Our keys were in a plastic bag pinned to a cork board. Explanations were confusing. Breakfast was an epic adventure. « Our lodge was amazing there was plenty of room for 4 adults and the lodge can accommodate 6 although only 4 people can sit at the dining table inside. The hot tub was ready for use when we arrived and self check in was easy. Amanda who came to check the hot tub was very friendly and helpful. Please note the lodge has underfloor heating so the wall heaters aren’t required and the hot water seems to be regulated from the thermostat in the kitchen.
