The parking spot the condo was tight, not sure if I would be able to park the SUV if the condo lot was full. « We wanted something that was walking distance to downtown and the lake. This property gave both. We were able to walk to different parts of the lake from this property and easy walking to the main downtown/ Martine Museum. There is a full kitchen with most supplies. The layout of the place was nice as well. The bridge that goes over the Black River is right outside and it didn’t affect our sleeping. I even brought ear plugs just incase and never used them. Also there is a place called Flagship Speciality Food and Fish. It’s the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. It’s a hole in the wall and you might miss it. We had a facial and a massage at Mak Salon. I will say that there must not have been recent guests before us because we saw a lot of dust and cobwebs on the windows and room fans, but we cleaned it up as needed. « I think a lot of the negative reviews are unwarranted. It was clean and had plenty of room for the 6 of us (plus dogs). The house is old and you need to use the window AC units, but it was fine and stayed cool all day. The prices are 1/2 that of other properties in the area. « This property is wonderful due to its characteristic design. All three floors had their unique flavor that make staying there a wonderful experience. Blake was a awesome host that directed us where we needed to go. All of us also enjoyed the walk way just outside of our door that took us over to Portabellos that kept us warm and dry for dinner, very nice. »
