Copious, self service breakfast with a wide choice, and the ability to borrow a 2-3 pin adaptor from reception. Car parking available and the possibility of obtaining a continental breakfast to take with you if you leave before the 'official' opening time - ask reception the night before !! »

« Très bon hôtel. Seul bémol sur le parking qu'il n'y a pas car on se gare dans la rue s'il y a de la place proche de l'hôtel on a de la chance. »

« Very comfortable room & bed. Superb meals in the elegant Carrier drawing room. Slight downside in that we were kept waiting to sign in. Disappointing that mostly the flowers on display were artificial, despite having a cut-flower garden outside. »

« Nous avons choisi le George sur les conseils d'amis qui, comme nous, ont leur enfant à l'University of Essex. The George est situé sur High Street, donnant un grand choix de restaurants, 100 metres du parc du Chateau (7.30-19h). L'hôtel est très "oldy-wordly" avec quelques murs d'origine. La chambre n'était pas grande mais largement suffisante, avec vue sur le parking, donc pas de bruit et très calme. Le lit, 160 metre était très confortable comme le linge de lit. Le seul hic était la douche...
