« This location was perfect for 16 college friends to gather for a 3 day weekend getaway. Plenty of beds, kitchen space, dining space, gathering areas inside and out. We enjoyed the property for hikes and being in the calm of nature. We also enjoyed the town for shopping, a couple breweries and a visit to a beautiful preserve. « The property is well located. The room was reasonably comfortable and the host provided some nice conveniences such as picnic plates and cutlery. On the downside, you WILL hear any night owl neighbors in the unit upstairs. Also, the flooring level change as you approach the bathroom is a bit of a tripping hazard. »

« The day we arrived it was a beautiful fall day and stepping into the farmhouse seemed so much more. The fall decor and the house decor made us feel very welcomed. All that we needed was readily available. The grandchildren loved playing outside on the swings and seeing deer every morning. We also enjoyed having a campfire at night with a relaxing glass of wine. Very family friendly. »

« We had a great stay at Hillandale! It was a perfect spot for gathering family in town for our son’s wedding. It was clean, comfortable and very well stocked. There were lovely extras like snack baskets and fresh flowers in every room and extra toiletries in the bathrooms. A highlight was the beautiful outdoor space and setting. The house is an old farmhouse that has been added on to over the years which makes for long windy hallways upstairs and lots of hidden staircases. We loved it. Do note...

We did not have a car for the long weekend, but due to the proximity to Clarendon and the Metro Orange Line, we definitelyy didn't feel like we needed one.
