Nous avons réservé 3 semaines la maison.belle demeure et hôtes à l'écoute,mais manque vraiment de quoi cuisiner et réfrigérateur bon pour la casse les plaques de cuissons très moyens.la surprise du chef et que l'on nous dit surtout pas, le décollage des avions vers 7h00 du matin et toute la journée le dernier vers 23h00. Maison très bruyante et piscine non chauffée maximum 14 Dommage car pratique pour faire ses courses et pièces à vivres sympatiques mais nous ne conseillons vraiment pas. Ludovic

We enjoyed an area that was profoundly Spanish, relatively tourist free. Anabel was easy to contact and responded promptly to our queries. We were satisfied with the accommodation although we would have liked a safety deposit box and an extra set of front door and gate keys. We appreciated the late check out on our final day and Anabel was helpful in arranging taxis for the airport.

Great value villa
Villa very attractive and reasonably well equipped. Any small problems eg lack of a grater, a faulty light switch were dealt with promptly and cheerfully by Anabel and Jorge. The location near the Deiland shopping centre , lots of restaurants and the sea is ideal . We got used to the occasional plane taking off and liked the fact that we had to use Spanish sometimes in the town. Would definitely return.

Traditional style home
Located in a quiet neighbourhood the house has a wonderful oasis garden with swimming pool, a great place for breakfast and evening meal or glass of wine. Supermarket nearby and easy reach to the coast, sandy beaches and promenade with many restaurants. The house itself was comfortable, a very modern downstairs shower room. Some basics were provided which was very welcome One suggestion for the top floor double room is to provide lamps both sides of the bed and a soft chair or stool in the room.

Enjoyable four week stay
Anabel was an excellent host responding very quickly to the few problems we had, even sending her lovely parents to sort out the flooded kitchen, resulting in a new boiler being fitted later that day. The house is in a great location, just a short walk to the sea front and the shopping centre. It is a lovely house but in need of a new kitchen and appliances. We were unable to use the oven as it didn't get hot enough to cook even a pizza, there is a microwave provided. Unfortunately we had to buy our own sun bed cushions as none provide, a couple of the sun beds were broken so uncomfortable to lie on. Surprised that no cleaning products were provided as we were there for four weeks and obviously needed to clean regularly. Spare linen was provided so we could change and wash the sheets. The pool is lovely, not heated but the sun was on it most of the day.

Overall it was an enjoyable stay. The property is very noisy due only being 5mins from the airport. Enjoy our stay but the property needs a little TLC as is a bit dated. They are a few bars about and the beach is close.

Fantastic property
We recently spent our 3rd holiday in the great property. It has all the features you would want for a break. The property has 3 large bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. There is plenty of seating outside and around the lovely pool. The house was very clean and tidy. We would recommend this property to everyone. There was a welcome pack and this was greatly appreciated.

A great house in Playa Honda
Our first visit to Lanzarote and we certainly made a good choice when we picked this house for our stay. Anabel was very helpful with suggestions for site-seeing trips and responded quickly to any questions we had. The house was delightful, and we spent most of our time outside in the beautiful gardens with several areas to relax in and out of the sun. The swimming pool was perfect for a cooling swim. We took daily walks along the beach past the airport or walked in the opposite direction towards Arrecife. We booked a couple of trips one on a wine tour which was very interesting and a visit to the national park and surrounding areas. We especially enjoyed the visit to Jameos del Agua the creation of the sculptor Cesar Manrique. Playa Honda has a very relaxed feel to it and has easy access to supermarkets and restaurants. There were so many restaurants to try and we managed to dine at quite a few with return visits to Restaurant May, Patagonia grill and Al Marea. We had an amazing time and were sad to leave. There is still so much to explore and visit so we will look forward to a return visit.

Return visit to Los Cactus
Our second visit to this well equipped, comfortable and conveniently located house. Deiland shopping centre only minutes away and less than 15 minutes walk to Lidl and Mercadona supermarkets. Everything you need for a self catering holiday is provided. Anabel kept in touch but was not intrusive. We will definitely be returning.

Just as good as last time
Brought family this time and the grandkids loved the pool. Playa Honda is not a typical resort as it’s more ex pats and locals than holiday makers but suits us. Delian’s shopping Center is 4 minute walk and is great. Nice restaurants on the front which is a 5 minute walk. I would highly recommend Los Cactus for up to 6 people.

Keep Coming Back
This is my fourth trip to this villa since end of covid - can't rermember how many times I visited before that. Villa and location are perfect for a nice quiet relaxing break. Nothing is too much trouble for Anabel and Jorge.

Lovely comfortable and spacious villa
Great pool and outside area. The villa was roomy and comfortable although we barely used the indoors as it was so lovely outside. The area was quiet apart from the odd planes taking off but that didn't really bother us. Lots of local restaurants within walking distance as well as a choice of sandy beaches. We loved the pool too, however, there is no shallow end so might not suit people who have young children. I'm sure if we come to Lanzarote again we will return to Los Cactus.

What an oasis - traditional style villa located in a local neighbourhood The house has plenty of room and is fully equipped. wonderful outside space; the garden is lovely and a nice surprise with terraces enabling to enjoy full sun and shade. Anabel communicated well during the whole process and provided lots of basics in the house even shampoo and shower gel. We had a lovely stay and would stay here again.

The villa was very clean and very close to the airport and the flight path but the noise wasn’t all the time. A couple of small issues at the villa but the response from the owner was super quick and resolved fast. I think a small information pack about the use of the facilities would be helpful. This villa is in a get location, close to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. It would also have been nice to have some cushions for the sun beds. Charming Villa in Spanish Resort
Villa exactly as described. Although an older style, it has rustic charm with everything we needed. Great size with a beautiful outside area for eating and lounging, protected from sting winds. Plenty of towels provided, all bedding and towelling immaculate. Communication with the owner was really good. Thank you.

Very high quality villa
Anabel's villa is a detached 2 story property in an ideal residential location. Only 5 minutes to Deiland shopping mall and supermarket, with Spar a few minutes in opposite direction. Lots of local bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The quiet beach is less than 10 minutes walk. The villa is very well furnished with good quality furniture, comfortable beds , everything you would want in a kitchen. Sun reaches patio area from early morning to late afternoon. All 4 adults had an extremely quiet and enjoyable stay. Will definitely return very soon. .

Great place to stay
We have just stayed in this villa for 6 nights and it was wonderful. We booked it the night before our stay when we were already in Lanzarote as the place we had booked was terrible and we needed to move. Anabel was lovely and so helpful, made us very welcome. A great place to stay in a quiet, residential location but only minutes walk from the beach, restaurants, shops and bars and a very chilled and very Spanish atmosphere. The villa was lovely, very clean, nice decor, lots of nice seating areas and really had everything we needed. The photos online don't do it justice, it was even better than we thought is was going to be. I would definitely recommend.

Wunderbar
Wir haben 2 tolle Wochen in dem tollen Haus gewohnt. Das Objekt entspricht genau der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Viel Platz und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und der Aussenbereich mit Terasse und Pool ist ein Traum. Playa Honda ist nahe am Flughafen und die paar Flugzeuge, die vom Aeropuerto starten, sind gut zu hören. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastic property
We stayed for a fortnight in September and had a great time. This is the second time we stayed at this property and cannot thank Anabel and her family enough. We received a welcome gift, which was a lovely gesture. The house is so private and in a great location with restaurants, supermarkets and the beach really close by. I have recommended the property to friends and will definitely arrange to return next year.

What a wonderful place to stay
We've just returned home from a lovely week at Los Cactus. The house is lovely and clean, very spacious and in a great location. We went as a family of 4 and there was an entire floor we didn't even use. The area of Playa Honda is very Spanish rather than English tourist which was what we were hoping for. Just a word of caution for those with young children, the pool is pretty deep with no shallow end. We hope to return to Los Cactus again soon.

Just returned from our stay here. Such a lovely, homely place. Stayed as a family with 2 adult daughters. Loads of space for everyone to not be on top of each other. Total suntrap all day if you love the sun, lots of shade to escape the sun too. Pool lovely, lots of chairs to choose from. Pool towels available Loads of bedding and bathroom towels too. Washing machine was a bonus. Very secure villa in a lovely quiet area within easy reach of the local shopping centre by foot. A little further away is Lidl but have to walk over the main highway, so can be a slight challenge with heavy bags. Close to the beach too Bus stops a 5/10 min walk away Number 3 gets you into Puerto Del Carmen No need for a car, can walk to next nearest resort if you are able bodied, where there are lots bars and restaurants. If not, a taxi will cost you €10 or €1.40 on the bus one way. The buses run quite frequently but they do get busy so be prepared to be jammed in like a sardine. Only 5 mins to first stop for next resort though (Matagorda) You need to wear a mask on public transport. The only negative for us was the oven. Very temperamental and took us 12 days to suss out! There weren't any instructions but we found if you turned the far left knob to the 'hand' sign and put the number dial on 11, the heat was sufficient to cook a pizza. Just give yourself plenty if time. The hob is easy to work though. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend and return again. The hosts are fabulous and nothing is any bother. They respond very quickly to any emails. Put it this way....we were in no hurry to leave!
