Agréable séjour , personnel au top , vue exception
Accueil au top , toute une équipe extraordinaire. Grande gentillesse. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est très bon , nous y a avons dîné tous les soir et c’était un plaisir d’échanger avec la serveuse qui essayait de parler Français. Une vue à couper le souffle . Dommage que les décorations lumineuses gâchent un peu la vue . ( pas trop envie d’avoir des décorations type « Noël » sur les photos de vacances. ) La salle de restaurant est très jolie , en revanche, les chambres et salles de bain auraient besoin d’un petit coup de neuf .

Personnel chaleureux et très accueillant. Piscine à débordement avec magnifique vue sur l'océan. Nourriture bonne et bien présentée. Chambre confortable, climatisée, et propre.

Personnel sympa et très attentionné, très bon accueil. Hôtel surplombant la ville et le port, magnifique vue et coucher de soleil, isolé du centre-ville mais Navette disponible et gratuite presque chaque heure. Belle terrasse du restaurant et live band et bonne nourriture. Jolie chambre face à la mer mais côté jardin un peu plus vieillot. Bruyant à cause du port et du minaret !!!

Breathtaking views and nice rooms. The property is away from the city. It is a bit dated and could use some updates. The restaurant has amazing views of Labuan Bajo and is the best for sunsets. The food was great. Unfortunately, we encountered a lot of smokers.

I booked a deluxe sea view double bed room on Expedia. When I showed up at the hotel, they claimed I was booked for a worse room without a view (garden view). Not only that, they put me in a twin room with small twin beds and they said I would have to change rooms on my third night and final night of my stay, which as anyone knows, is a big inconvenience. So, I had to argue with them and get Expedia to help me get the deluxe sea view room I booked and paid for. I spent the first hour killing countless mosquitoes, flies, spiders, cockroaches, and caterpillars. I understand it’s the wild tropics, but the staff clearly put no effort into pest control. There were huge gaps between the front and rear doors and the floors underneath them, allowing any bugs to waltz in. Every time I left the room for a few hours I would return to see loads of bugs, mostly centipedes/millipedes and mosquitoes. Same goes for every morning I woke up. I killed 100 bugs during my 3 day stay. I spoke with other visitors on my boat tour the next day, and they all said that there were few or no bugs in their hotel rooms at different hotels. The staff are nice and always smile and greet you, but unfortunately they aren’t very good at cleaning, pest control, or keeping reservations organized. Internet was very spotty and rarely worked. Internet didn't work most of the time.

Great view but very isolated.
The view over the harbor is unbeatable. And the price reflects that. The rooms are spacious and the staff helpful. However because it’s on a hill, it’s rather isolated and it costs 70,000 rupiah (one way) to get into the town for dining. There are no taxis in Labuan Bajo. The hotel provides free pick up and drop off only to the airport. The hot water seems to last for a maximum of 10 mins, unfortunately.

Great stay
Hotel room is spacious and staff are friendly and helpful. The view is really great at the hotel pool and cafe. Location is far from jetty, but free shuttle service is available.

They would ahave got a 5 stars if the shower didnt keep flooding the room. No hob to stop water leaving bathroom. Make sure you book a ocean fiew otherwise you will be in a room with no windows or balcony

Really Nice Hotel,
Very nice hotel with friendly staff, good rooms and beautiful views over the bay and Flores Sea. Really nice treat after or before you go to Komodo. A bit more on the expensive side compared to other options but from my opinion it’s worth it. Food is ok, there are other options in the town.

高台からの見晴らしは格別
空港送迎がついてました。車だと5分くらいの距離で、あっという間に到着しました。高台に位置しているので、シービューの部屋からの眺めは圧巻でした。街からは少し離れています。歩きだと30分は歩きます。ホテルから街は下りなのでまだいいですが、帰りは登りになるので汗だくになりますので、タクシーかホテルの送迎を頼むといいかと思います。部屋はとても清潔です。レストランも、街よりは少し高いですが、まだリーズナブルだと思います。スタッフの方々は総じてフレンドリーでした。とてもいい思い出になりました。

The rooms were quite nice for the price. The view from the hotel is outstanding. What an amazing place to be at sunset. The food at the restaurant was very nice, good price for food and drinks. Very helpful and friendly staff. I would stay there again.

Amazing views and service! We were so happy staying here and would definitely recommend this place. heir in-house breakfast is also super yummy! Only thing that could be improved was the breakfast box that they pack for you when going on cruises.

Great view, friendly staff, and very accommodating! It is a little further out of town, up on a hill, but nothing too far. It is worth it for the view, I think!

Fantastic view, welcoming staff, clean and comfortable room. Some might find it a little challenging with the wet bathroom, as in shower next to toilet without curtain. But it’s no big deal. They offer yoga by the pool and more importantly unbeatable sunset!

The staff could not do any more to make you feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The views from the hotel are amazing and add to an already lovely experience. Food is excellent and there is shuttle service available for airport and trips to town (only a twelve min walk to airport and 20 mins wall into town). A few elements of the hotel are tired and need updating /refreshing and housekeeping sometimes forgot to replace things our room, however, this was quickly addressed upon request.

Loved this hotel! We've spent most of our trip in 4 and 5 star hotels and this was on par for the location! The pool and view were incredible. Room was sufficient, just very basic.

Lovely spot above Labuan Bajo
Overall a very good stay. La Cecile is located a nice distance from the noise and chaos of town but is a quick 15-20 minute walk to the main street. The pool is lovely and the sunset views are spectacular. The restaurant is ok, but you can find much better food in town. The front desk staff are always available and very helpful, but I would not take their advice about things like tour companies and where to rent a scooter. You do better to research for yourself. A few small things ... the wifi is poor, my tv did not work, and my room door would not lock. Not big issues for me, but these things might bother some people. Overall a very nice stay and I would recommend it.
