« Ok so first the positives. It is a very cute place within walking distance to the Black Sand Beach. It is in a quite rental community and there really is value for the money as there are limited options on that side of the Island. The views from the back porch are beautiful. The listing was very clear that it was very small and had no AC but fans an a breeze from open sliding doors would be sufficient to cool the rental. In theory that was great. Now I understand living in a tropical environment...

« It was hot & humid much of our stay. Ceiling fans in this unit all worked great & were clean. »

« This was a lovely condominium community. Quiet and great views of the water. The condo was clean and the kitchen small but well stocked. Walking distance to the beach. The hot tub was huge which was good as it was a popular place in the evenings. Parking and check in/out were easy. Would stay here again. »

« Our host Julie was very quick to respond to any issues we had and always answered the phone. The setting of this unit is perfect with uninterrupted views down to the ocean. The unit is clean and decorated in tiki fashion which fits the surroundings perfectly. Would recommend 01/29/26 »

« Place was really nice, clean, kitchen well equipped, and appreciated beach stuff. The property around the facility could be trimmed and cleaned up. When I drove in, I thought place was abandoned. View of ocean by pool and hot tub was great but again trim the growth. Place is only 30 minutes from National Park so nice stay. Stop at Hana Hou Restaurant nearby really good. Along with Lanikai Brewery in Volcano »
