« Everything about the Swanendele Inn was exceptional: the location, the accommodations, the facilities, the decor, the hosts, and, not least, the breakfast. In fact, you could spend several days just exploring the remarkable antiques and artifacts around the place. However, what made the strongest impression was the fiery glow of dawn though the pine trees outside our balcony every morning in the Margeret Brent suite. Rhododaktylos, "The rosy-fingered dawn": I never understood the true meaning...

We had a great time at this property - there were plenty of towels, a comfy bed, cookware, and other nice touches that made it a great getaway. The fenced in yard was so helpful for letting our pup run all around! Katie was extremely responsive and answered questions right away. « Very private cabin, quiet, spotless and perfect for a quiet getaway.We sat on the dock to watch beautiful sunsets after a great day walking through Leonardstown where we met Sean, owner of a great coffeeshop/ bar to watch football after taking in the local flavor. The property was perfect to relax, read, play games and sip coffee off the front porch. Host was gracious and his description was spot on. We will definitely go back to The Camino! »
