Yes I was able to call her which means a lot because before finding this location I had a bad experience with no communication from the host which made me feel uncomfortable with my reservations. « Great location! We had a weekend full of events in downtown Houston and we were never more than a short drive, Uber, or train ride to every location. We also went to an Astros game while there and it was the perfect location for an easy transit before and after the game. We brought our toy poodle and the park across the street made for easy early morning or late evening walks. It was clean, cute, and comfortable! »

« The hosts were very responsive, and the house was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. My only concern was the location. When booking a rental, you can't always see the surrounding neighborhood, and there were several abandoned or unoccupied houses next door and across the street. That said, I don't think this is unusual for rentals in this price range. Overall, we had a good stay, and I would recommend the property. »

« The host provided clear instructions on how to get in and out. The room was as expected, and it was nice having the mini fridge and microwave. A couple of downsides: (1) the ceiling fan was making a fairly loud squeaking noise, so be careful if you're sensitive to sound and also want the ceiling fan on; (2) the shower water would not get hot, it would only get to slightly below body temp, so it felt cool, but not frigid cold. »

« The place was not cleaned before I arrived. There was dust everywhere, even on the baseboards. Crumbs and dust from previous tenants under the love seat in the living room. Under the sofa looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned under in weeks. Parking was NOT easy. The gate didn’t have a key fab to open it so, I had to get out my car to get out and to come in the gate. The keypad wasn’t in working order on the interior of the gate so I had to use the one on the outside of the gate to get in and out....
