« We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend @ Grand Lake Cozy Cottage. The layout of the home is perfect. The kitchen is at least a 4 person working kitchen so that was great. The additional dining space was a plus. Due to inclement weather, we ended up having a great 'game day/night' at the table. It was enough for 6 people. The levels of decking was a bonus as was the boat house play room. It was nice having a long dock at we brought two fishing boats along with us. You won't regret renting this...

« This was our 1st VRBO experience. We came to town for our daughter’s wedding; We needed lodging to accommodate 4 adults and 2 young children. This home was perfect for us, clean and cozy, well stocked. The 2 young children (ok, the adults too) enjoyed the toaster to make waffles by morning and the fire pit to make s’mores by night. We’ll likely return if our daughter continues to live in Alpena! »

« Wonderful stay for our hockey team in Alpena. Perfect location and the hot tub came in handy after games (in addition to the cold lake plunge) Will definitely stay again! « We have stayed at ** many** VRBO rentals over the years and the Rapid Retreat definitely goes in our FAVORITES bucket! The cottage is very beautiful, updated, and is filled with everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. Everything is clean and tidy.
