L'appartement bien meublé dans le centre de Grand Case ne laisse pratiquement rien à désirer. Prospect Aussattung et l'assistance de l'agence locale (Christoph Lopez) sont étonnants et plus de proffessionell. Nous avons pu faire l'expérience de deux semaines inoubliables dans ce bel endroit dans les Caraïbes. Andreas et Kathrin en famille

beautiful apartment right on the beach in Grand Case
We enjoyed a week at this lovely property in December, 2015. The agent in charge of the property, Christophe, was very helpful, meeting us on time at the apartment and showing us all the details of the property, and offering to help us with information about the island in any way he could. In terms of the apartment itself, this is a beautiful, modern, 3-bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment right on the beach in Grand Case. It occupies the top two levels of a 3 unit building, which gives you some nice privacy as well as great views of the beach, the bay, Creole Rock, and the island of Anguilla in the distance. We made great use of the kitchen, and especially the balcony that is accessible from the living room and directly from two of the bedrooms. The apartment was clean and very modern. Wifi worked great, and the kitchen amenities were all we could need for our stay. There’s a small parking garage in the basement, which was super convenient (parking in Grand Case can be difficult), with a lift that takes you directly into the apartment itself. Very nice. Follow their advice, though, to rent a small SUV, because your car will need some ground clearance to get down the steep hill into the garage. In terms of location, the apartment is right in the heart of things in Grand Case—an easy walk to all of the (many very good) nearby restaurants and clubs. As mentioned, it’s right on the beach, and there are several nearby businesses that offer watersports (kayaking, canoeing, snorkeling/scuba excursions to nearby Creole Rock, etc.). The building sits between two restaurants, which is very convenient in some respects (food from both was good, and you can order right on the beach) but just a warning some nights there may be live music or DJs and it can stay loud pretty late, one night well past midnight. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend the property.

Amazing stay, we will be back
Absolutely Beautiful and spotless clean two floor penthouse with front ocean views and direct beach accessibility. So comfortable, walking distance to shops, stores, pharmacy and top restaurants. The house is in between two very lively bars so if you want peace and tranquility, this is not the place for you. We won’t stay anywhere else, this is officially our place, we do hope the owner will get a softer mattress before we come next time lol! Kids slept like angels though. Thank you for everything. Shout out to captain frenchies!

Really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to the wonderful restaurants of Grand Case. The terraces and views are outstanding and the apartment itself was really well laid out. The upstairs bedroom is pretty much a separate apartment with its own living room. Free breakfast and chair rentals at Captain Frenchy really worked out! Great beach bar! The beach itself was fun (lively and great people watching) and the swimming was wonderful. The music from Rainbow Cafe is there during the day (definitely NOT quiet) but it is quiet after about 11:30pm. I can’t wait to go back 😀!

AMAZING!
I came here with 2 of my friends for a girl’s trip and we were all astounded by this amazing property! Beautiful beach views, easy access to many restaurants and bars, breakfast at Frenchies, and tasteful beach decor are all selling features of this terrace! The property was very clean, we were greeted at the door to receive the key and shown around the property, and check-out was a breeze (minus the fact we didn’t want to leave). We would definitely return here and recommend to anyone looking for an amazing beachfront property in grand case!

Amazing location
Six of us stayed here over Christmas and New Years. We absolutely loved it. The condo is located right on the beach in the heart of Grand Case. Couldn’t be in a better spot. The restaurant next door, provides free breakfast and chairs. The only negative is the noise from the two adjoining bar/restaurants — they play loud music at night. But the trade off the location was worth it! The deck was amazing, and the rooms were spacious.

Amazing location in Gand Case
This beautifully decorated and appointed condo has everything you need for an incredible stay in Grand Case. The property managers were so kind and helped us with everything we need. You are situated right in the middle of night life. Captain Frenchies next door does play music later into the night on select nights. So, you will hear that sometimes until midnight. It’s right next door. However, you get free breakfast there every morning during your stay. If you don’t mind some music in the evening, this is the place for you. I will definitely be back! I can’t say enough great things about this place and the property managers. 5 stars all around!!!

Only issue is that we ran out of toilet paper. No soap provided in shower or wash rags. Not enough linens and bath towels. The electric went out several times and no water last night. Other than that the location is a dream to wake up and go to bed every night seeing the ocean. Can't beat the sunsets.

The condo is just beautiful! Big open sliders to the ocean, spacious rooms, double bathroom sinks, a deck with table and lounges, all looking out on the ocean. It even has an elevator which can be handy at times since the stairs are generous spiral stairs. Christophe, the manager was delightful and a great communicator, so everything went smoothly. The location is right in the middle of the night life on Grande Case. There are two French bakeries within feet of the condo, a French pharmacy within view and of course all of the amazing restaurants up and down Grande Case. The beach is gorgeous and worthy of a daily walk. I thought the beach in front of our condo was going to be quiet with just a few chairs, but there must have been 30 or more chairs and umbrellas tightly lined up by 8am. It was packed. The music ……. This condo is located between Captain Frenchy’s Restaurant and the Rainbow Restaurant. They are both great places for drinks and food. The challenge for us was that they both blast out music, generally starting around 1pm and can go until 10 or 11pm, almost every night. If you like this sort of thing, you will love this location. It is a party scene and full of life. You can get drinks and food on the beach just below our patio. Sweet if you like that kind of thing. I knew there was a restaurant next door, but I was surprised just how evasive it was. There you go, your choice!

Great location - right on the beach - good layout for party of 6 - we were all adults but would suit all generations. AC works well, nice privacy shutters - well appointed bathrooms. Would give overall a 5 star but the loud music next door until 1am was a bit much! 11 ok but not 1am and might have been different if they changed the beat once in a while! Also when using the oven the breaker would trip but I’m sure they will look after it! Good walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars - breakfast included at Captain Frenchy below so that was a bonus as was the elevator to the unit! Overall good stay.

Just came back from an amazing stay at this property with my family of 7. The apartment is spacious, very clean, is fully stocked and includes great amenities. What you see is what you get. Christophe and Luna were very responsive; always available via phone and messages prior to the trip. The location is perfect! Right on the beach and near the best restaurants in Grand Case. Breakfast was included with this property from Rainbow Cafe and they also allow you to use their beach chairs free of charge. Would definitely recommend this place and hosts to anyone. We loved staying in this apartment right on the beach. The place was spacious and so comfortable. We traveled with our two adult sons and they were happy to each have their own rooms and bathrooms. The check in was super easy and we felt welcomed and oriented. We loved staying next to the Rainbow Cafe. We enjoyed that there was music all the time and their food was excellent too especially sushi. The apartment was conveniently located- we rarely even needed our car! We would definitely stay there again. Also Luna was so accommodating. Originally we were supposed to be there in January but our sons got covid and could not travel. Rather than lose our money Luna was able to change our dates to March!! We felt a lot of gratitude for her flexibility!

Lived the layout of the unit. Very comfortable for 6 people. Spacious bedrooms. Excellent access to a beautiful, calm beach. Lots of options for meals. Grand Case is still struggling a bit from Irma and the pandemic, but we had a wonderful stay here! Captain Frenchy's bar adjacent can be a bit noisy in the evenings. They have good food and maintain their chairs and beach well. Awesome staff there. The owner Luna and Christphe were excellent. Overall an excellent vacation!

A Family First
This was the first trip we took together as an expanded family after my daughter got married last year - we love St Martin and wanted to share it with our kids! Calypso was perfect! It's on the beach, had plenty of room for all of us and such beautiful views! Parking is a bit tricky but that's the nature of the neighborhood. Easy walk to the best restaurants - for a quick bite, there's a great bakery and pizzeria across the street and Captain Frenchy's next door (music is a bit loud but ends at a decent time in the evenings). LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Calypso - wonderful stay and excellent hosts!!

Just spectacular
St Martin is well on it's way back from Irma and LunaSpa is perfect. Luxury and comfort intersect with convenience and beautiful views. The food at Rainbow cafe next door was delicious. There are 3 grocery stores nearby. If you stay here, stop by Buscos for some tasty St Martin rum. We enjoyed every minute of our time here. The host was friendly and helpful. The only negative thing we have to say is that we should have stayed longer.

Outstanding property!
We stayed in the ground floor apartment (2 bedrooms) and the place was great!! The convenience was phenomenal — beach just steps off the porch, Captain Frenchy next door, along with the Rainbow Cafe. A great bakery is just across the street, and small supermarkets were within 100 yards, at most. Grand Case is still recovering, but there are plenty of great dining restaurants for dinner! And, our hosts were great and attentive to anything we needed, which was about nothing!

Location, location, location!
We travel a lot and this was one of our favorite properties! We have never been closer to the beach. The water is clear and looks exactly like it does in the picture! It was the perfect location for my husband and I and our 12 and 15 year old daughters. A very clean, well maintained property and Christopher is just a few minutes away if you need something. There is a washer but not a dryer. There are 2 tv's but only french channels except for CNN. There was internet. The island is still recovering from Irma but this property was in great condition! We were there September 22-29, 2018 so not much was open due to the season but we had the beach to ourselves - even got to hold a starfish, saw a rainbow and dolphins! Look for the goats climbing high on the hill. Because we were about the only tourists we were able to interact a lot with the locals and that was so much fun! Be sure to check out the Lolo and Scooby's for great local food! The Villa was a nice sit down restaurant and Captain Oliver (next to the Lolo) took us out to Creole rock snorkeling. Be sure to ask Captain Oliver about meeting President Macron, he was coming to the island the day we were leaving and having breakfast with Oliver-how cool! The French bakery, Le Bounty, was delicious and our breakfast/lunch almost every day. Say hi to Eulina for us. There is another bakery that was opening directly across from us - Janet works there. The Rainbow restaurant was closed for the season until November but the menu looked awesome! Captain Frenchy, right next to the rental, brought us chairs everyday and you can buy beer, wine and food from him and he will serve you on the beach. There are 2 small grocery stores across the street to get what you need including sunblock. You can catch a bus right out front to Marigot for shopping and from there you can catch another bus to Philipsburg on the Dutch side where the cruise ships dock. We took a cab to Philipsburg for $40 (open borders so no need for passports). The cab to and from the airport was $45-50 each way. Because of Irma, some places still don't take credit cards. The local eateries only take cash and the mac machine will give you euros. The mac machine is a few miles away. Thank you for the perfect week! We will be back!

My husband and I stayed in the Calypso with our five children in June 2017. This apartment was perfect!! We loved staying in Grand Case, a mix of residential and commercial properties on the beach, in the French side of the island! We loved it because we were completely immersed in the local culture!!! We want to live as a local when we travel and that is why we loved this rental!! Out the back door you walk paces to the beautiful uncrowded beach!! Out the front door you walk paces to an out door cafe serving fresh croissant and the best Cafe au lait I have ever had!! The entire strip is filled with restaurants and bars and petit hotels!! There are two Grocery stores right across the way!! We felt completely safe and had no concerns at all. We are already planning to return again next year. During our stay we traveled the entire island swimming and sampling all the various beaches and for swimming we all agree the beach in front of the Calypso is the best!! We were on the beach all day, only steps from our residence and all of its amenities!! The apartment itself has everything you need and is very comfortable!! Because we have five children we utilized the kitchen eating many meals in the apartment. The kitchen has everything, including a dishwasher,!,, one night we brought live lobsters and had a lovely lobster dinner on the veranda watching the sunset. Washing machine also came in handy and is a must for me when I travel!! About the noise here is my take: we chose this location because our children range in age from 23 to 15. In my opinion being located between two beach bars was a plus! I felt safe allowing my children to go to the bars and not have to drive home. They literally walked out our back door and onto the deck of the Rainbow restaurant!! My husband and I closed the metal hurricane shutters and that did drown out the noise!! IThe music was only loud Sunday and Monday nites. It wasn't bad and the positives out weighed the negatives!! Because there were seven of us we rented two Jeep Wranglers for the week! We parked one right on the street in front of our residence with no issues!! There was always a spot! The second one we parked in the Calypso parking garage. In the morning I ran Grand Case Boulevard for my morning run. It is the perfect length for me! We ate three nites at the Lolo's. open air BBQ restaurant a few doors down from the Calypso! The food is great grilled ribs chicken and fish! The beer is cold!

Wonderful. Fine french food. Casual dress. Back deck is on the beach!
We have stayed in the Calypso penthouse twice now, most recently Jan 2017. The apartment is on the top two levels of the building. You need a key to enter the building's front door, a key to operate the elevator, and an access code for the back door. It is secure. The apartment has two bedrooms on the main floor, one with an ensuite bath, and the other with the bath just outside it's door. A third bedroom is up a flight of stairs. The upstairs also has an ensuite bath and an additional living area. The living area downstairs is comfortable and recently refurnished. The apt has wifi. The kitchen is small, but has everything you will need. Refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher and washing machine (my favorite!) blender, wine gear.. The dining room seats 6, and there is additional dinning space on the balcony. The apt is clean and modern. Linens including beach towels are also provided. If you get a car, you can park it in the underground parking- but you need to rent one with high clearance of the bumpers. The entrance is a steep incline. However, you do not need a car. Grocers and bakers are a 6 buildings away, nice restaurants line the Blvd, inexpensive BBQ stands are just down the street, and cabs are available and reliable. I have never felt uncomfortable walking through Grand Case. The beach out the back door has 7-10 steps (front door does too). Then you are on the sand. Rainbow Cafe is on one side and Frenchy's is on the other. We eat at Rainbow often, so we use their chairs (free w purchase), but the apt has 4 chaises too. Food and drinks are excellent and I adore the staff at Rainbow. The beach has a gentle slope and no waves. Oc4, rents kayaks and paddle boards from Rainbow. Great snorkeling is a short boat ride/kayAk trip away at Creole Rock. Some nights restaurants have loud music. I can be a grumpy old lady, and it hasn't bothered me. But I am not the type to go to bed at 8pm. I have spent a lot of time on island. I haven't found anywhere that does not take American dollars, and $=€ in most places. You may get local currency back for coins. English is widely spoken. Part of me is reluctant to tell you about this little slice of heaven, but I would be happy if you enjoy it as much as we do!

We just returned from a week in the Calypso top floor unit on Grand Case beach in St. Martin. The owner / manager Christophe was great at communicating how to gain access and depart from the nicely designed, spacious unit. The in town location was SO convenient to excellent restaurants, live music and shopping options. Do you it's an active area... a few of our group of 6 thought it was loud on a few evening (from nearby bars and restaurants). I loved it! I've been to the Caribbean over 30 times.... this is without a doubt one of my favorite places to stay.

Beautiful, comfortable apartment with gorgeous views
We loved our stay here. Every bedroom has a really comfortable king bed with its own bathroom. The views are phenomenal and panoramic. Pretty beach is right outside the elevator, so going up and down is quick. Easy to walk around the corner to supermarket and a great french bakery every morning for fresh croissants or delicious sandwiches on french baguettes for lunch. Lots of superb restaurants in walking distance, and we always felt safe. Christopher, the apartment manager, was very helpful anytime we needed anything. It was so convenient to have restaurant/bars on either side of us. Both Michael at Capt. Frenchy's and John at Rainbow were happy to serve us drinks and/or lunch on the chairs with umbrellas that sat out front. The waitress at Rainbow even brought our frozen drinks up to our room for us when we first arrived and were bringing up the bags! If you are six people, a Ford Explorer is a good bet--it fits in garage if you drive in verrrry slowly. It may take a few swings to get it in the space, but really nice to have free parking right there. Yes, there was a late-night party one night that was loud, but they give you the option to come to it, each with a free drink, or they will provide a free breakfast. My teen and young adult daughters loved the party and danced on the beach! Two other nights there was a singer (drag show) until 11, but it was quiet otherwise. We did bring some earplugs, so it was not a problem for us. This apartment is such a great value. To have a luxurious three bedroom suite right on the beach for the price of one luxury hotel room is amazing. Great place for a family reunion as you can rent the lower floors too. There is a washer but no dryer, so takes a day for your laundry to dry. You will be happier if you bring one spare towel for each person.

Top Lage direkt am Strand und alle Restaurants bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Frühstückscafe´schräg gegenüber. Französische Bäckerei 200m entfernt. Simply-Supermarkt mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten in Hope Estate.Dort ist auch Grape Wine für den Weinliebhaber. Tiefgarage nicht benutzen - es findet sich immer ein Parkplatz in der Nähe. Der Blick auf die Bucht und Anguilla ist besonders nachts atemberaubend. Auf jeden Fall auch nach Anguilla übersetzen: Die Strände dort sind absolut einmalig. Der Service und die Abwicklung sind leger und unkompliziert - wie alles auf der Insel. Das Penthouse ist neu, modern und super sauber. Es hat alles, was man braucht. Direkt nebenan Rainbow Cafe´mit allen Mahlzeiten und dem einmaligen Mojito Royal. Falls man karibisches Feeling hautnah erleben möchte, passt hier alles. Falls man die Ruhe sucht, besser ein Haus in den Hügeln mieten.

Beautiful Views, Modern Flat.
The property was clean and new, it had all the amenities of modern apartment /condo living. The three bedrooms all had their own private bathrooms which is great if you are traveling in a group of 5-6. The large terrace gave you a full view of the beach. On the backside of the flat a small terrace gave you a mountain view. It was right on the water and we were able to watch sunrises and sunsets from the terraces. There was a bakery right outside the front door as well as two small markets. The area is full of resturants and bars, we tried several, the food was excellent. It was cosy enough to be home, or be the home you always wish you had. We would all stay again.

Good and bad
Grand Case has many good restaurants worth trying. The beach in front of the condo is quite long and enjoyable. The top floor patio faces over the sea and the sunsets are very pretty. The interior of the condo is relatively new and the small kitchen has most of what you will need. Those are the good things about this apartment. The only real bad thing, and if you want to de-stress and relax it is very bad, is the noise problem. The Sunday night we arrived we were told that the restaurant next door would play some music on Monday night and that we would get a complementary breakfast the next morning. It turns out the restaurant played very loud music until after 1 a.m. It was a sort of music that has a very loud bass line which reverberated throughout the apartment. It is impossible to sleep. When i went next door to ask that the volume be lowered, I was told they do this every Monday night and the owners know this and should have told us. We were told about this noise when we checked in Sunday night but we're given no notice of this situation beforehand, I.e., before actually renting the property. I wrote a note to the owner the next day (Tuesday) and was told that she would talk to the people next door. That night (Tuesday) a restaurant across the street had a karaoke party which lasted until well past 1 a.m. This also had the same sort of amplification and bass note playing until well into the night. When I went over and asked that the music be turned down I was told "No" and that they do this every Tuesday night. After further inquiries I was told by the "boss" it was "no problem" to turn down the sound.. But the music wasn't turned down and was still going just as loud at 2am. I told the owner and she said she contact the police about this, but i was told by locals that nothing would change. The owner also sent us a bottle of champagne. So another night with very little sleep and another day with a slightly groggy view of our vacation. So 2 days of 6 spent half awake and in return a breakfast and some champagne. Not a proposition I would have agreed to beforehand. I think the owner should be obligated to tell potential renters about this problem. If you are the sort of person that can sleep through anything I don't think this problem should deter you from renting the apartment ,it is indeed a wonderful place to stay - except for the noise problem. In fact, for some this may be a plus. Just know ahead of time what you are buying.
