Hello Caroline, Thank you for taking the time to send us some feedback. We have recently taken over the property and are excited to finally be in Golden BC. We do have many plans to improve the property and some of those you highlighted above. Although, each room does already have a cable connection with a great selection of channels, including local TV. We do offer a light start to the day with an assortment of Muffins, Tea, Coffee or hot chocolate but are very lucky to have the cafe located within walking distance. We do have some industrial surroundings but the property is located on the Kicking Horse River with an incredible view of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and surrounding peaks. We do hope you will come visit us again. Thank you, Basecamp Golden
