Bel hotel au bord de l'eau, avec toutes les installations nécessaires pour la plongée. Excellent restaurant avec un service impeccable. La chambre est climatisée, et pour une raison inconnue nous avions toujours du sable qui entrait malgré nos précautions. Equipe très accueillante (quiz du samedi soir très sympa)

Il est facile de vivre une expérience de plongée sous-marine. Le personnel est expérimenté. Très propre. La nourriture au restaurant est excellente. Il est possible de faire du snorkling juste en face de l’hôtel.

Très bon hotel avec de jolis petits bungalows climatisés. Petit déjeuner en bord de mer et club de plongée au top : matinée en piscine pour nous familiariser avec le materiel et après midi en mer avec un moniteur qui parle français. Nous avons adoré notre séjour à gili air.

Manta dive was a good resort to stay at for diving - the staff were friendly and obviously passionate about their work and the area they work in. They knew their dive sites well and the guided dives were well-organized, friendly, and safe. The rooms were a little dated, and the bed linens could be renewed -rips and such made them feel a little old. The resort is 3-star, but I was surprised that there weren't bedside tables, the mini fridge was empty and the rooms were basic and bare. Likewise the pool was pretty but missing tiles and not very clean most of our stay. The food was very tasty in the restaurant, (although please provide earlier times for coffee in the morning if possible for us early risers) Again though, if you are there to dive, all of these things were irrelevant to a great diving holiday.

Manta is an excellent dive resort. Rooms are comfortable, beds are cozy, staff is very helpful. There are delicious restaurants nearby - Sharkbite and Chillout were favs. There has been some erosion along this side of the beach. Walkout snorkeling is no longer a thing while the reef rebuilds. Snorkeling day and half day trips are available to great spots around the Gili Islands.

Room was clean, the grounds are well kept, staff was great and helpful! Enjoyed meeting guests. Laundry, tours, bike rentals are next door. Enjoyed a quite sunrise every morning from the Waterfront restaurant, before the staff came to work. Will come back next year!

Overall it was a nice experience, but we had higher expectations due to the good reviews. The room didn't have a mosquito net and it smelled weird. It might be due to the roof material, but it wasn't pleasent. Furthermore we got the experience that guests who were staying there for a diving course were treated a little better than regular guests. Last I need to mention - the hotel doesn't have a sand beach where you can lay. You need to go somewhere else on the island to get this. We were expecting this from the photos and got disappointed.

Our dive center is located in the resort area, and there are some stuff members that are related only to the diving part, and thus they interact exclusively with the diving guests. Dive instructors and students interact quite a lot as safety is our first priority, and therefore it might seem like dive guests get more attention. We are sorry that we made feel you this way but we can reassure that it was only instructors that devoted more attention to their students, and we are equally happy to welcome all of our guests. The area in front of the resort doesn't have a sandy beach but is prefect for snorkeling (you can see incredible corals, lots of tropical fish and sometimes turtles). The only sandy beach of the island is located within a 2 minutes walk, and we find our location very attractive. We are sorry if the information on the website created a wrong impression and we will review this. It was our please to host you, and we are happy you had a good experience staying with us in Gili Air :)

The room was lovely and it was very peaceful and quiet as we were to the back of the property. Although we didn't dive this trip there was great snorkeling out the front of the hotel. Breaky was very nice and we tried a few options.

Häämatkamme oli huomioitu kauniilla sänkykoristeluilla ja deluxe bungalow oli erittäin siisti ja viihtyisä, erityisesti osittain avoin kylpyhuone oli tosi viehättävä. The staff is really nice and helpful. It’s also a diving center which is really cool if you are staying for three days because gives you time to get the diver certificate. The bungalows are very nice and clean. It’s very very very familiar. Really a very choice on the island.

This resort is very clean and has a good restaurant on site. We stayed in the bungalows and loved it. They have A/C and the shower is open air. W REID not use the diving services so can’t comment on those but they certainly were popular.

The staff are super laid back and always there to help. The place has a buzzing atmosphere despite Gili Airs chilled out nature. The breakfast was amazing! Garden rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Wake up to the blue sea everyday!

I was excited to stay here, but I’m going to say this mostly because I got so many emails from so many different people it appeared I may have been difficult in arranging payment. But you should be ashamed of the diving experience you gave a friend and I. No smb for our guide? Had to use mine? Overpriced, unfriendly staff aside from the one girl at the desk. The other woman also had no explanation for an extra 100,000 rp charge for each customer which apparently is a “park fee” and rudely had a dive instructor tell us “oh it’s new we forget” Im knowing many instructors around the gilis no one knew anything about this charge. In my opinion your diving operation is a joke and you should be ashamed about not only safety but you attitude for such a hyped up dive shop. Stay in a beautiful room for $60 USD dive elsewhere. All dive staff were absolutely MISERABLE.

We are happy to know that you enjoyed your stay at our bungalows and consider it great value for money! It seems like you were not satisfied with the newly adopted regulation by the Indonesian government to implement a one-time tax of 100.000 IDR for every diver diving in the Gili Matra Marine reserve areas. This fee was adopted in all dive centers in the coast of Lombok and The Gili Islands in April and every reputable dive center and instructor working in the area should be aware of this as it is strongly emphasized as changed regulation. The pricing of fun dives and courses is also defined by a price agreement between the dive centers in Gili Air to guarantee fair business and quality of teaching, so whichever dive center you wish to dive with during your stay, you will find the same pricing. Regarding the use of SMB's, these safety devices are used by every single dive master and instructor teaching with us, as our dive operations are firstly based on safety, above all else. Should our customers wish to use their own safety markers they are more than welcome to do so. In any case, our staff are always carrying one, without exception. When it comes to our "hyped-up" reputation, that can be counted as a compliment, as we have managed to deliver excellent diving experiences for all levels of divers for more than 11 years and are truly proud of our team efforts that it has taken to earn all of our excellent reviews, happy customers and our reputation. We hope that the adoption of the Marine park tax of 100.000 IDR in the Gilis (7 USD) didn't ruin your diving experience too much and hope to welcome you back again for a diving stay in the future! Well... Not the best. Had big hopes for this one but nope. Room is fine but you felt ignored by the staff and breakfast was 2/5. You could only choose 1 meal of the menu (smoothie, toast, egg etc) ended up buying second breakfast somewhere else, every day. We left an empty can of Coca-Cola on a table by the pool. In two days it was still there Hahah and the staff just lying on the sun beds watching their phones. Don't know if the can is still there, check it out 😂 And this side of the island smells. Not a bad review for the hotel but location is bad. Good for snorkling right outside but nothing else. Garbage by the roads everywhere, smells really bad, nothing that gives you a good appetite by the restaurants.

We are surprised to hear that you found our breakfast options limited and would like to clarify that our complementary room breakfast includes 1) one choice of main course, 2) coffee and tea included and 3) a fruit platter or a fresh fruit juice. All in all, there is a broad variety of options to choose from and if this isn't enough to fill you, in addition to this, we offer an all-day breakfast menu where items can be purchased throughout the day. Regarding the coca-cola can, our communal areas get cleaned multiple times a day, so it is not possible that dishes or empty bottles are left on the areas overnight. We also share your frustration with the garbage problem in the Gili Islands. Unfortunately, as there isn't a proper garbage disposal system according to western standards on the islands, and the trash is collected by the local municipality, sometimes not so efficiently. As a resort, we do our best to minimize waste but can do very little when it comes to the garbage that businesses leave on the areas for the municipality to collect. We hope to have provided you with more understanding regarding your experience with us and wish to welcome you for a stay in the future!

Yksi parhaista hotelleista missään
Henkilökunta oli oikein tuttavallisia ja avuliaita. Antoivat paljon vinkkejä mitä tehdä ja neuvoja sekä opastivat paikallisten kanssa toimimisessa Kaiken kaikkiaan hotelli, palvelut, henkilökunta jne. Viimeisen päälle, ei mitään valittamista! Aamupalat myös todella hyvät ja suosittelen lämpimästi kaikille!

Great location, wonderful clean comfortable air-conditioned rooms, friendly staff. Love the fact they are so eco-friendly refill your water bottle for free etc- only small complaints would be the poor wifi in the rooms - I work as I travel so can't just switch off completely -but we knew that was going to be bad beforehand so made sure we had mobile data and that was fine. The other thing was it would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room - I guess the electricity supply might not like it though so I understand ...it made me drink more water anyway which is a good thing :)

Schneller Check In / Check Out Freundlichen Personal Leider ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten leider Probleme mit dem warmen Wasser
