« It was a very picturesque location. The cabin was simple and rustic. Its wonderful for heat, but no air-conditioning. There are plenty of fans. The beds were extremely comfortable. The shower is a little tight, but to be expected with a cabin. The water pressure was ample. The furniture is of cabin quality and the lighting is sufficient. Its a great place to get away from the business of the world, but not if your looking for the amenities of a resort. I completely enjoyed my stay there...

A little dirty and lots of bugs/spiders which is possibly due to a long time between guests. « Marlene’s cabin is in a perfect spot to get out and experience all the Berkshires has to offer. East Barrington not far south and North Adams a short drive to the north. There is nothing Marlene did not think of to make your stay a good one. Everything you would need is available in the cabin. The kitchen is perfect for enjoying some home cooked meals. My wife and I spent most of our days out and about but it was nice to come back to the cozy and quiet cabin. I highly recommend a stay here. »

« Cozy and comfortable cabin with plentiful natural light. About a 10 minute drive from Berkshire East Mountain resort which provided a fun day of family skiing. Generous and thoughtful host; a good bit of snow fell on one of our days, and he let us know where to park to avoid having to move our car for the plow, which made it easy to get in and out. Looking forward to staying there in the summer. »

« Very spacious divided into 3 floors. Kitchen was open and had all the basic essentials (coffee, spices, etc.). Lovely balconies all around and right next to the mountain (there’s ski off access but we didn’t have enough snow to risk it through the trees.) lots of space and hiking, a beautiful bridge / waterfall. Highly recommended if your skiing mount snow or anywhere near. »
