Ok place for short term.

The place is like an average hotel. Pretty much all you need. You will be able to hear traffic 24 hours a day and when the furnace turns on it loud, but works. Sinks in the bathroom and kitchen are slow to drain, but again it works. The front desk attendants are very helpful and overall location is good.

Very happy with the stay. The building overall is a little dated and ready for some updates, but the unit was just as advertised and great location with the Water Taxi stop right there.

Weekend Oasis in South Florida

This VRBO unit is a 2 bedroom suite inside of the Gallery One (Double Tree) Hotel. Check in was easy and the front desk personnel were friendly & helpful. It is perfect for a long weekend on the beach with friends with 2 large bedrooms, each with a bathroom and a common living space. There is a balcony that has a side view of the water. The kitchen is small but perfect for storing & serving drinks, making coffee and heating up small items. The hotel has a fitness room, pool, outside bar and waterfront seating. There is a restaurant on site, but because it is a VRBO, you can't charge food & drinks to the room so bring your credit card when you head to the bar or the restaurant. There is easy access to many eateries up and down the Lauderdale beach within walking distance or a short Uber. There is a water taxi avaiable for transportation, but is a pricey way to travel if you have a few people. It is an easy 10 min walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to shopping. If you park a car, the valet is expensive, but there is close long-term metered parking for much less. All in all, this rental was outstanding! Perfect for a weekend get-away. The host, Arthur, was informative and responsive. We had a terrific time and would stay again if the occasion arose.
