« What a fabulous friendly place. We came on Friday night when they were having a charity night quiz. What an amazing atmosphere the people were just so lovely. We’ll be back again and hopefully join in this time. The landlady Clair had seen us standing and came over and found us a table. « Couldn’t recommend The Tenpus at Charlton Hall more! We stayed in one of the lakeside lodges and had such a lovely relaxing time. We had planned to eat at the Lobster Pot in Bamburgh but lucky for us they were a chef down and couldn’t accommodate us so we ate in the Tempus restaurant which was outstanding. I didn’t catch our servers name but he was so friendly and made us very welcome. Food was delicious. Can’t wait to book again… absolutely loved everything about our visit. »

« Nice hotel, a short walk from the town centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast choice. My only negative point is that the bathroom was tired with noisy plumbing but otherwise I enjoyed my stay. »
