« Unfortunately, the check-in at this hotel was one of the worst I’ve experienced. Firstly, they do not accept American Express, which was inconvenient and not clearly stated in advance. The receptionist then struggled to process my alternative card, insisting it didn’t work. I politely asked her to try again and of course, the card worked perfectly the third time, confirming it was a user error on her part.
What made the situation worse was her lack of apology or acknowledgment of the mistake....

« It was amazing, the garden rooms are a hidden gem! The design of the room and bathroom were beautiful huge room. The hot tub was a great added touch! I was very thankful for the soya / oat milk in the fridge for us too. The little path to the joiners arms could have been lite a little better from the road to the static caravans but the pub was great also, food was delicious and breakfast was fantastic, great options. The village and walk to Beach especially with the added sunshine and heat on...

« We booked this last minute trip to Northumberland. We have driven past often during summer holidays and were looking for a hotel for a few nights. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. The room was spotless but a little small, however as we only booked the night before we thought we were lucky to get a room!!
Embleton is close to lots of attractions, close to the beach and Alnwick and Craster. It’s great value for the price and we will definitely be back. »
