Very bad service provided. Not recommened
Everything mentioned in booking was not available. We ordered lunch and dinner from the resort and it was very bad and old food. Just warmed up. Moreover, breakfast buffet was pathetic. Toast and eggs were too hard and old. Moreover, fruits were rotten and stinky. They used canned fruits not even fresh. Pool water temperature was not controlled. Honestly, not worth to go there with family. I strictly not recommend this resort. Should be 1 star.

Sehr nettes Personal, sehr gutes und vielfältiges Essen, 2 schöne Pools une grosse Zimmer. Das Hôtel ist sehr abgelegen und es gibt kaum Transportmöglichkeiten. Es waren kaum Gäste da und die Atmosphäre war deshalb speziell. Es gabe keinen Strand und mehrere Bauarbeiten.

Palma resort is now newly renovated with excellent spacious rooms . Rooms facing sea side and swimming pools with barbecue pits separate for each room. Price is reasonable. Lots of activities . Hotel staff hospitality is too good. Mr. Hassan took good care and makes sure all is perfect.

Dette hotel kan ikke anbefales
Hotellet skriver at der serveres alkohol (cocktails), hvilket IKKE er tilfældet. Den viste pool bar er lukket ned og hotellet er helt tørlagt.. Endvidere er hotellet angivet som 4 stjerner, hvilket det IKKE lever op til. Værelser er stærkt nedslidte og flere møbler direkte defekte (skuffer faldet ned m.m.) Vi fik hver eneste dag først gjort rent når vi ringede sidst på eftermiddagen og beklagede os. Hotellet benyttes meget af lokale UAE borgere til fester på stranden til lagt ud på natten, hvilket gjorde at vi 4 nætter ikke fik en ordentlig søvn, da festener først blev stoppet ved 3 tiden. Den store pool er virkelig flot og personalet er meget venlige men de kompenserer desværre ikke for de mange mangler..

الفندق بسيط جدا،، السعر مبالغ فيه بالنسبه لمرافقه،،،، لايستاهل العناء بصراحه وهذا السعر ابدا،، الفطور لا بأس به،، المسابح باااردة جدا على الأطفال،، يجب تدفئتها،، اسوء شيء البحر،، شاطئ متسخ،، لايوجد شاطئ ورمال اصلا،، تشعر انها بحيرة او خور كبير وليس بحرا،، الغربان في كل مكان والبعوض ايضا يجب رش المكان بالمبيدات،، عندما وصلت للغرفه السرير كان عليه شعر والارضية كذلك،، لايوجد العاب للاطفال او حشائش او غرفه العاب للاطفال وهذا من البيديهيات في اي فندق،، السبا جميل ومسبحه نظيف ولكن سعره مبالغ فيه بالنسبة لي كمقيم في الفندق يجب ان يكون سعر رمزي،، وقت النساء قصير جدا،، افضل شيئ في الفندق انه لا يقدم الكحول وأننا اسمتعنا بالتجوال براحتنا لأنه لا يوجد به مناظر خليعه

Beachten sollte man - Umm Al Quwain ist nicht Dubai. Für das eher ländlich geprägte Emirat Umm Al Quwain, eine sehr schöne Hotelanlage im ägyptischen Stil. Momentan werden zwar einige Bereiche renoviert (einige der Poolanlagen), doch hat diese Anlage großes Potential. Für Familien optimal geeignet, große saubere Poolanlagen und viele fest verbaute Grillanlagen direkt vor den Wohngebäuden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr umfangreich und stets frisch. Das gesamte Personal war immer freundlich und entgegenkommend. Die Zimmer waren für diese Kategorie sehr gut ausgestattet und großzügig. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass viele Emiratis die Anlage zum Wochenendausflug nutzen und dann bis tief in die Nacht mit sehr lauter Musik grillen und feiern. Einzige Alternative ist mitmachen. Kurze Wege mit Taxi in die Stadt. Das Emirat ist eine Reise wert, schon um das originale ländliche Flair direkt zu erleben. Alles was man sonst noch brauchen sollte, findet man in den vielen kleinen Geschäften in der Innenstadt.

Overall, it’s a great place to stay, they just need to work better on the bathrooms though. There are no towels provided in the pool areas, you have to use the ones in your room. This resort is surely the only good place in the city. They have amazing coffee shops and sea view. Overall, it was a good experience.

We went to spend a weekend as family of four. The resort consist of number of rooms arranged around a swimming pool. There is no place for a walk or beach. Beach use is kinda exclusive for beach facing villas. After an evening in the pool we got bored and came back home the same day.

the Sea View Room is the best
There is a lot of improvement compared to the last time we stayed here..very impressed..the Sea view room is the best..very peaceful as compared to the pool view. i recommend the sea view rooms. The Wifi was not connecting though. Everything else was good as per value.

To be passed....
We booked this hotel mainly for the sea view and the pictures on the booking site looked promising. Unfortunately, upon entering our chalet we could not pass by the fact that it is completely worn out. A few things worth mentioning: 1) All furniture was at least broken once and was repaired with screws or nails. 2) All floor-tiles were damaged. All of them. 3) The window was dirty beyond anything and did not open/close properly. 4) The bathroom was full of mould and had a cracked sink. Water pressure in the shower was ok, but from the faucet almost no pressure. 5) The garden is terrible. The BBQ is broken, grass is not maintained. Signs and boards are at least 20 years old and not maintained. 6) Lights in the house were either blinking or not working at all. 7) It was not mentioned that the garden is in fact a walkway for everybody else and that we had neighbours living above our house. Overall, the breakfast was ok and the staff was relatively friendly, except the check-in where they clearly saw we were a family with 2 children but not cots or other beds were provided so we had to improvise a bit. This seems to be the favorite hangout place for young groups of locals. Going to the pool as a western lady was frowned upon. But that's not the fault of the hotel. Overall advice: stay away from this poorly managed hotel.

Unusable beach & Unsafe watersports
The hotel has very small beach area full of algae and small fishes, other water animals and stones. No one was swimming in the beach. Basic things like steam, sauna was on paid basis. The hotel had only Arab guests and very few fillipinos and no other nationalities on a weekend. The water sports centre do not follow any safety precautions. In single kayak, they allowed 2 people. In banana boat, the staff named Khurshid used jet ski to pull the banana and drove so fast that my son fell down in water. Despite shouting to slow down, he did not stop and my son fell down twice. 2nd day, I tried banana boat thinking that my son could not hold it properly. But to my surprise, he drove me also very fast and despite shouting to stop, he intentionally did not and made me fall down in mid sea. I lost my goggles due to same. After falling while going back, he again drove fast and did not hear my shouts. The management must take action and remove unsafe water sports staff like Khurshid who is a threat to people's lives. On the other hand, rooms were good and food was also fine. The hotel also has a nice bowling center on paid basis where we also enjoyed table tennis, billiards and some other games. The 2 swimming pools are also good. The pool did not have any umbrellas to sit beneath. Overall experience not good due to water sports safety issues & staff behaviour.

furniture was very old and maintenance is poor but still we enjoyed the stay because of the beautiful view from my room.

Unpleasant stay due to disturbing and annoying guests. Allow of self parquet, self stereos, un-monitored swimming pool temperature, guests quality, rooms quality and maintenance very bad and old fashion. Doesn't worth staying there even if it is free.
